Twin Palms Resort, located near Florida's famous Lake Okeechobee, has been making memories for anglers, duck hunters, and families alike for decades. Our resort is only an hour's drive west of the Gulf Coast or an hour east of the Gold Coast of the Atlantic. We are located between Disney World and Miami Beach. Whether it's for the season or just for a weekend getaway, come and stay and create your own memories in the middle of the Sunshine State! Featuring a bar, Twin Palms Resort is located in Okeechobee, within 1.8 miles of Lake Okeechobee and 17 miles of Caloosahatchee River Water Basin Testing Facility. Some units are air-conditioned and include a seating and/or dining area.

Tent Camping - Twin Palms Resort
I liked Twin Palms! It is really an RV park, but there is plenty of room to throw up a tent and you can have your pick. They have all the basic amenities right there and the space was right off the road, but exceptionally quiet and the pond was quite pretty. Nearby RVers were friendly, but not intrusive. Gary was very professional and helpful and really went above and beyond. I would stay there again!

Dry Camp Site 16 Twin Palms Resort
I loved the tent camping at Twin Palms Resort. Gary attended us as soon as we reached the site and gave brief information about the place. Spot was beside a small pond with beautiful sunset view. We would definitely visit again and recommend our friends too. This resort also few cabins which are great for small families.

Cleaner bathrooms and shower. Friendlier manager that let the person know things instead of their friends that is with them. And washer and dryers that actually work don't charge so much to use them.

A very friendly host, clean bathrooms, quiet area. Also, they have a screened in gazebo so you can relax outside bug free.

SITE 2 - Twin Palms Resort
This was a great spot with hot showers, laundry and full hookups. Lots of folks are full-timers and fishermen seem to like the spot, too. We explored the area (25-30 miles West/South of Okeechobee) and found a cool local bar (Duck Pub) nearby with awesome food. There is a bar (The Twin Palms Bar) on the property out front but smoking is allowed inside so sadly we only stayed for one drink. Our host Gary Dean was very gracious and knows a lot about the area that is rich with wildlife (fowl, crocks). We would definitely recommend this spot and will return when we are in the area.

Grate spot to stay for camping. Tents, Vans, Tesla welcome Charger (don’t forgot to took EV adapter). Nice pound view. Shower, toilet, BBQ spot (book in advance). Close connection to the bar and Casino )

I took a chance on on camping here with a friend and am glad I did. Gary was fantastic and super attentavie to us. He found the ideal location for our tents to be set up and was beyond hospitable. He made it a point to check on us frequently and has a wonderful demeanor and outlook on life. The facilities were super clean and would 100% go back and have already discussed another trip back with more friends. Thank you Gary!

Twin Palms Resort
This was a very nice hidden gem. The camping spots were flat and a good size with a place for water and electricity. The bathrooms and showers were always clean and well maintained. In the evenings and mornings it was nice to watch the sun rise and lower by the pond.
