My 2 year old and fur baby had the best time ever!!! From a Vet Tech perspective-the animals do have some lack of care and some sterilization would be awesome-some over population and some health issues! Elvis(Emu) is aggressive but super sweet-can’t have lunch outside😂! The donkeys come by in the mornings for some apples and to smell bacon! The bathrooms are new are really nice! It truly is a one of a kind experience!

I loved our stay. We would absolutely come back. Plenty of trees to hang hammocks. The animals provide lots of entertainment. I would like to see a garbage can on the site as the donkeys were consistently getting into everything. The Emu Elvis is super cool. Don't let him scare you. Elvis is not great with dogs tho we thought. Met a lot of really cool people there during our stay. The venue is beautiful. The fire pit is a little away from the campsite. We planned to cook on it but there wasn't a grate. We made it work but I wish there was a grate and it was at the actually site. If youre a messy camper or have kids who leave their toys out your stuff will be eaten. Not a place for dogs who bark a lot as there are animals everywhere. Also kids who lack confidence may be intimidated by the animals but its a great experiencd. Definitely want to come back!

Had such a relaxing time! Loved being able to see the animals and interact with them. Roy, the caretaker was so kind and helpful. My sister and I had the trip of a lifetime here. Loved every second of being followed around by the emu named Elvis! We will be back!

You want unique?
This is the place for you. So many different animals that they have rescued all living their lives where you camp. Little rustic but an adventure for the kids and local eateries and conveniences close by.

Awesome place!!! The animals make it super fun just sitting and watching them. The property itself is a great set up as well. We are super grateful to Payton for providing this place and to Elvis the Emu for entertaining and walking around with us!
I can’t wait to come back with my wife, she will love it.

It was definitely an experience staying on the farm. You will have a close encounter with the cows, donkeys and pigs who will frequent the site. You as also share the property with others staying in tiny homes through AirBnB.

Unique place but I am skeptical to call it a rescue. All the animals are in tact and not fixed. So there was some testosterone aggression and a lot of pregnant females. So I wouldn’t necessarily advise people who are not comfortable with farm animals. They roam freely throughout the campsite and thereh are a lot of them. Outside of that, we were thrilled to wake up and have coffee with donkeys, goats, and cows. I hope Payton cleans up the projects he has going around there

Will never stay here again poor condition if the animals, unsupervised. Property at site in disarray with old washing machine's scattered about our site, numerous exposed wire goats had access to chew on.....poor poor upkeep

My time at the Hampton’s Rescue Farm was super interesting and magical. So many animals just hanging among each other in a way that just seems harmonious. We were lucky enough to catch some sleep and a lovely fire at the farm! Close enough to the city to pop into town if needed. Kenny was super helpful and was happy to give us an introduction to the animals!

Neat animals, and mini homes. It was easy to get in spot. However host didn’t meet up with us, ever. Sometimes she’d respond to questions quickly. We had to figure out bathrooms, and showers. But that was pretty easy. There was a pool, but I was told by neighbors it was only for someone who rented house. That would’ve been nice to use. There was only half string lights working. WiFi was not existent. And someone dropped off junk and washer and dryers outside place. Very Sampson & Son like. Some junk was cool decor, others looked like many projects. I would however come again if they had WiFi, and didn’t have people there living month to month. There was one creepy guy living in a tiny home. I had to keep an eye on my kids. But I guess it’s like that any public place. The area outside the gates were iffy. We did laundry nearby, and that was a mistake. But the day we left we found Target and the area around that was really nice. We drove to Mickler’s Beach near St. Augustine. Very beautiful beach, with fossilized shark teeth. My kids loved the animals. Bring boots or sneakers. Great swings, fire pit, egg grill...felt ok safe.

The place is great for kids. The whole concept of a rescue farm appealed to us. When we opened our RV door at 7 am we were greated by sheep and cows, just right there. The kids had fun. We enjoyed being able to take a hot shower with good water pressure and have access to restrooms.
Getting settled was a whole other story as host wasn't on site and our site had been given to someone else once we got there. The lights around the pond were off so it was hard to see where to go but after 30 mn someone helping on the farm helped us park somewhere. We ended just having water but we made the best of it.

We had a blast at the Hamptons. Keith was such a blessing and a help when we arrived and left. We have a 37ft travel trailer and it was a tightttttt squeeze to get in. The RV spot itself was very spacious, but the turns and road to get in were very narrow, I honestly didn't think we would make it in. Other than that we had a great time. They have 50amp electric, potable water hose, and a very lovely hot outdoor shower next to the camp site. The animals kept swarming our RV like a welcoming committee, it was adorable!

Our family camped here for 2 nights and had a wonderful time! All of us were so excited to be welcomed by all of the animals and enjoyed getting to know them during our stay. It was so fun to be surrounded by them at all times and get to hold the baby goats, sheep and pigs. Such a unique experience! Payton was great and Ken was so helpful and thoughtful as well!

We had a great time. Realize you are living WITH the animals. It’s not like a zoo...you are WITH the animals! Bring your boots! It was incredible...3 nights. We smiled the whole time. Note: We expected full hookups, but, there was no sewer dump. 30 amp power dropped a couple times below 107 volts kicking off our surge protector.

We enjoyed our one night stay on the “farm” and absolutely loved the free roaming animals. We camped at the farm in a 38 ft motorhome and it was a little tight driving through and think we were a little heavy for the gravel (we did not get stuck - we were ok). We also hadn’t realized before our stay that the farm is also home to several tenants in tiny homes as well as a few houses that are rented I believe as Air BnBs. So we were not alone on the property. There was one other camper there the night we stayed as well. It is a charming place but it was a little stressful for us in our large vehicle. In my view it’s better suited for smaller units.

Payton’s place was the perfect unique experience for someone looking for an easy going, laid back farm stay. The farm has an assortment of lodgings, tiny homes, cabanas, places to set, take awesome pictures and interact with the animals.
The people we met were super cool and the lights and personal touches created a feel that you are in your own little world, yet restaurants, stores and everything else are minutes away.
Payton responded instantly and was friendly and accommodating and we had a great time.

This place is incredible! Totally shocked to pull up to find so many different animals walking free. This is a total kid friendly place. I wpuld reccomend it to anyone and everyone.

Pulled in late at night and the farm was lit up perfectly. Didn't get a chance to walk the grounds so we really didn't know what to expect.
Payton was gracious with our late check in and we slept perfectly once we got settled.
Woke up the next morning and opening our van door to 3 cows staring at us. It was AWESOME. We woke up my 2 year old son and proceeded to introduce him to the "locals." From pigs, to cows, to llamas and turkeys, to goats to peacocks and more.
What a treat it was to see all the animals, living in harmony. We loved it. It's not your "traditional" campsite or campground which is exactly why we loved it.
Payton was awesome too. Spending time telling us about the land, his plans for it and his experiences as a host. We would totally come back again!

What an absolutely delightful adventurous stay we had at the Hamptons rescue farm! The moment you open the gates you will be greeted by countless animated residents ranging from miniature goat kids to donkeys,pigs&piglets,llamas,alpacas,cows the list is endless! It is a sight to behold! Just disappointed we couldn't stay longer.
The accommodations for our RV were perfect. There were numerous amenities available to accomodate our stay. The property is gloriously well lit for wonderful photo opps!!
Payton responded immediately to any & all of our inquiries. Meriam & Payton were very gracious hosts! We will definitely be returning for a longer stay! Highly recommend !!!

Payton responded to our same day request very quickly. He has experience with traveling people. He gave us every option and continued to communicate the entire time. We had some COVID issues and could not meet our expected arrives. Payton worked with us through the entire process. We rated this as a wonderful experience and will try to get there next time
