The G Spot on the Suwannee River
I’m not sure you could find a more perfect spot. The gazebo overlooks the river. We hiked, napped, and sat by the fire making s’mores that Ginny provided ingredients for. Jerry set us up and checked in to make sure we were ok, but was not obtrusive. We had a great time talking with him and learning a little bit about the property. Definitely want to return and spend a bit more time exploring the river.

Beautiful site with gracious hosts. Ginny gifted us a basket upon our arrival with all the fixings for s'mores. We got a flat tire on the way into town and also forgot our air pump....Jerry hooked us up with a tire patch and let us borrow his pump. A real lifesaver. This section of the Suwannee is scenic and peaceful and Disappearing Creek proved to be a little slice of heaven as well. Highly recommend.

Ginny and the private camping spot were awesome! Beautiful view of the river. We were able to hike to disappearing creek and further onto the Florida trail which was just beautiful. She provided a little smore kit which was a nice touch. The gazebo was adorable and taken straight out of a fairy tale.
Little tip- Don't follow the hipcamp GPS directions though- find the packet that was emailed (mine was in spam so check there) and look for the address on the top of the packet. We got a little misdirected from the hipcamp GPS coordinates.

Most glorious secluded section of the Suwannee River. If your looking for Mother Nature she’s here with all her glory. Ginny’s spot on the river has trails, creeks flowing into the river, amazing bluffs above the river, and amazing towering pines and oaks. Also you can feel free and have a good swim in the pristine Suwannee. Yet all this is in walking distance. I threw my kayak in as well and experienced the river up close, was amazing! lGinny is great and she’s very welcoming. Jerry is great also. He graciously show’s you around this beautiful place and provides you with the highlights. They’re awesome people! I highly recommend this Hipcamp! You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to go back! Thanks Ginny & Jerry!!

The hosts were very nice and communicated well from the first time I contacted them. They were very accommodating taking me on a tour of the property and showing me places to access the river. The gazebo is nice and has two antigravity chairs to sit in. It was especially nice when a bad storm came up and we were able to seek shelter under there. If you are looking for a secluded primitive camping spot with a view of the Suwannee...it is perfect

Awesome, quiet spot overlooking the Suwannee River. All the little extras go a long way in making your stay more comfortable. A huge water tank was provided, tiki torches which really helped with the pitch black nights, fairy lights in the gazebo and of course the camping toilet were all very much appreciated. Ginny even provided us with a welcome smores kit. We spent our days kayaking the river and hiking the Florida Trail and Disappearing Creek. I've lived in Florida my whole life and this didn't feel like Florida. Limestone cliffs, caverns and creeks with small waterfalls almost made me forget what state we were in. The temperature inside the gazebo was noticeably cooler than outside of it and zero gravity chairs made great napping locations! Jerry was very helpful with descriptions of the property and made sure we had everything we needed before he left us to set up our camp. Overall we had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Had a wonderful time here! The hosts were very responsive and helpful and made sure we were all set. Beautiful view of the river and plenty of forest trails to explore. Will definitely be returning someday!

This is a true gem of a campsite! An incredible secluded location on the river surrounded by trees! The venue is lush magical and extremely private. The host was helpful and welcoming in all respects! There are trails that are very well marked at the foot of the site that lead to small beaches and nooks in the roversode! Host also rented me a kayak and picked me up at the end of my paddle down the Swanee River! Incredible nature spot- Cannot recommend enough- a must see!
