A hidden gem in Brooksville—this rustic glamping hideaway nestled on a 5-acre family hobby farm combines simple clean comforts, outdoor charm, and nearby adventures for a one-of-a-kind stay. You can literally walk out the back gate of the property into the Withlacoochee State Forest. There are miles of scenic trails for hiking, biking (paved trails), and wildlife spotting. This forest is the perfect backdrop for adventure, exploration, or simply unplugging and soaking in that peaceful “Old Florida” vibe. For adventure lovers, the Croom Motorcycle Area features extensive off-road trails for dirt bikes and ATVs, along with mountain biking paths for all skill levels. If water is more your speed, take a short drive to Weeki Wachee Springs State Park where you can kayak crystal-clear waters, float down the river, or even catch the famous live mermaid show. A bit further out, Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park offers a chance to see manatees and other native Florida wildlife up close. Chassahowitzka Springs (‘The Chaz’) is also a popular local spot to go swimming, kayaking, fishing, or to go boating. You might even see some manatees. For a slower pace, explore historic downtown Brooksville—filled with charming coffee shops, local restaurants, and a laid-back, small-town feel. It’s the perfect spot to grab a morning coffee, enjoy a casual lunch, or unwind with dinner after a day outdoors. Step into your one-of-a-kind barn retreat, where comfort meets outdoor charm. Inside the open-air lounge, unwind in cozy seating or gather around the smokeless fire pit to enjoy complimentary s’mores under the stars. Your private guest space feels like a true home away from home, featuring a plush queen bed and a twin daybed (perfect for up to three guests), along with a small dining table for meals or a little remote work. Stay connected with complimentary Starlink WiFi, and enjoy a rustic-yet-comfortable bathroom complete with hot and cold showers and a fully functional, eco-friendly compost toilet. Whether you're enjoying outdoor adventures, exploring local shops and great eats, unwinding by the fire, relaxing with a good book, or simply soaking in the sounds of nature—this is your perfect place to reset and recharge.Guests will have access to a private and peaceful area of our 5-acre property, offering plenty of space to relax, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors. The guest accommodations are located within our barn setup and include a cozy, climate-controlled room that comfortably sleeps up to three guests. Just steps away, guests can enjoy a shared open-air lounge area with comfortable seating, a TV, grill, mini fridge, microwave, and air fryer—perfect for relaxing or preparing simple meals. The rustic-style bathroom is also nearby and includes a hot and cold propane-powered shower, guest towels, toiletries, and a clean, well-maintained compost toilet. Guests have easy access to the backside of the property, which opens directly into the Withlacoochee State Forest—ideal for hiking, exploring, and enjoying nature right outside your door. You’ll have the perfect balance of privacy and accessibility, with hosts nearby if needed, but plenty of space to enjoy your stay at your own pace.
