Had a wonderful time on Pamela’s farm! I was able to pitch my tent right near a horse pasture and had a lot of open space for camping. Pamela was very attentive and provided water, a restroom, as well as access to the barn to spend time with all of the animals. The donkeys especially were so sweet. It was a very unique and exciting experience that I will forever appreciate!

Primitive Camping does not include staying in a junkyard with garbage and debris everywhere with animals that clearly need some care. Pam stated that they were hit by the hurricane but that was 8+ months ago. There is no reason that all this junk hasn't been cleaned up since then. There were bags of kitchen garbage overflowing in garbage cans down by the turkeys and peacocks. There was piles of lumber that was a huge hazardous to walk over to get to the toilet. The toilet was a standing alone in a room with no walls or even a light. Boxes of junk everywhere. A pool filled with green water that was a mosquito nesting pit. It was a disaster !!! It is a darn shame because with a little elbow grease, Pam could make the area where campers stay neat and friendly. Do not recommend. I really want my money back !!!

I pitched my tent near a horse pasture and loved it. This farm is recovering from a hurricane but it does have a bathroom, grill and plenty of places to get under for shade. The camp spots are not shaded. Very quiet and you will not have annoying sounds waking you up

It was a rainy night and I was able to camp under the barn roof. Dogs were very sweet and friendly. Pamela and her husband were very friendly and helpful. Lots and lots of animals!

Seemed like a nice place that suffered from the hurricane, that they are in the process of revamping. We didn't wander up to see the animals, but wish we had.

Camping went well. Didn’t have a shower but came prepared with my own. Very peaceful and host of as great and friendly. If I ever come through again would stay here. Had 2 friendly dogs that came and saw us off this am.

Very nice location and setting, but the facilities currently do not match what is listed due to hurricane damage (Idalia, August 2023)- and the listing has not been updated to reflect the current setup. We had planned to use the showers and microwave that were listed as available the next morning before we left, but due to the damage they no longer exist - and as a result we were forced to make a couple of extra stops the next day to get a truck stop shower and to buy breakfast. In hindsight I should have read ALL the reviews as this was mentioned in a Sept review, but I looked at the overall rating and only read the first couple which did not mention this - lesson learned. It's a very nice location, we would recommend it if you only need potable water and flush toilet.

A well-loved farm just an hour east of Tallahassee! Pamela is such a kind and considerate host. I solo van camped here in January a day before a big freeze came to northern Florida. The temperature was comfortable the night I stayed, so Pamela turned on the water to a flushing toilet in the shed on the campsite - which was a big plus for comfort!
The property is a decent size in a safe and spread out neighborhood near a big road. My favorite part about staying at this Hipcamp was meeting all of Pamela’s farm animals! The farm area and the host’s home is a short walk down a gravel road from the campsite. There are horses, pigs, turkeys, peacocks, chickens, sheep, and donkeys. They are all so beautiful, friendly, and well-cared for. Honey is one of the farm dogs, and she is just the sweetest thing ever!
I would highly recommend this Hipcamp to a friend!

Another great boondocking experience. Everything went well and the weather was perfect, a little cold but that's expected for December in Florida. But the cold and clear made for an absolute clear sky and perfect conditions for star gazing... We love coming here and can't wait to return....

I had a great week camping on Pamela’s land! Pamela and her husband went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed after a Hurricane had recently been through. If you love camping with a side of farm animals- this is the place! The pot bellied pig even greeted me my first morning around the campfire. Lovely, quiet property where I felt safe. I recommend!

Driving through and needed a place to camp for the night. All the camp grounds and parks were closed due to a recent hurricane, Pamela allowed us to stay on her property, fast response, wasn’t sure how to use the app, she was patient and understanding. Offered us all kinds of amenities that we weren’t expecting, there were also farm animals that we were allowed to go pet and check out. The kids loved it. Wonderful spot and experience.
Planning a trip down south in a few months, and plan to make her farm a night to camp at. Awesome place, awesome people, awesome animals!

Pamela and her family were so nice and accommodating. They supplied us with firewood and told us we could walk the whole farm. I was able to collect some wildflower seeds and the open fields were perfect to see the full moon. The place is in the process of upgrades and recovery from hurricane Idalha. There was a working toilet but it is definitely primitive. If your just looking for a place with peace and quiet and not real fancy this is it. So,I rude is yours at this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunny Meadow Farm. It was a nice pit stop for us. Pamela is a really great host, and the animals on the farm are very cool!

We had to reschedule our stay so we have not stayed at Sunny Meadow yet. We are rescheduled for April so we'll have a more detailed review of our stay at that time. In the meantime, Pamela (Host) has been great with communication, flexible with our intended and now future plans and going by just that alone, we are confident that we're bound for an AWESOME stay when we get there.

Our family of 6 stayed over a long weekend on Pamela’s farm and we had a great time! The highlight for us was getting up close and seeing all the animals. The goats will walk up and let you pet them, and there were sheep and pigs nearby. Our kids had a blast seeing and interacting with them.
Pamela was a very accommodating host and met us at the gate to show us to our site. The site itself was very quiet and is surrounded by farmland. There is also a wash house with shower and bathroom onsite, which was very convenient., and a welcome addition as Florida weather can bring lightning and it was nice to have a safe space as storms passed by.
We chose the campsite in the wooded area which even during the summer month kept us cool at night. We had a great nights sleep and felt safe.
We plan to come back!
