Sheehan Homestead is a small‑acre, education‑focused farm located in Callahan, FL, just outside Jacksonville. Our mission is to promote healing, growth, and sustainable living through meaningful interactions with nature . Visitors can expect a warm, hands‑on experience among our rescued and cherished animals—including goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, quail, Royal Palm turkeys, and gentle guardian dogs . We offer farm tours, interactive feeding sessions, and mobile petting‑zoo experiences—available both on site and brought to schools, events, or birthday parties. As hosts, Ann‑Marie (M.Ed. in STEM education) and Michael (Executive MBA, former corporate marketing professional) bring passion and purpose to every visit. You’ll learn about sustainable farming, composting, animal care, and the value of a slower, nature‑based lifestyle. On‑site visitors enjoy a relaxed rural setting with a port‑a‑potty, hand‑sanitizing stations, and limited parking (carpooling encouraged)  Depending on the day, you may encounter seasonal offerings like goat yoga, STEM enrichment, fresh cottage‑law foods, and the chance to see how our composting and upcycling practices support the farm .
