We had a great time here and the host Mark was great. There was plenty of firewood for us to use and he even brought some over to us after we had used what was at our camp. It was our first time camping and it could not have gone any better. Thank you Mark!

This is my 3rd time staying at Mark’s place. As a female solo camper, I’ve never felt unsafe on his property. Mark is very friendly and the property is great. Highly recommended.

Didn't get to see this property during the daytime. I arrived at night, and my vehicle ended up getting stuck in the massive amount of sand on the property. The dirt road getting there will also screw up your vehicle alignment if you're not careful. There was nothing on the listing that stated that somebody would need an all-terrain or 4 x 4 vehicle to make it through. I had to call a tow truck to come and rescue me, and Mark was extremely unkind, not helpful, it made me feel very unsafe and threatened. He was very hostile towards me, I did not understand. I was having an anxiety attack due to my car getting stuck in the middle of the night was absolutely zero help available. I was afraid I was going to have to protect myself being in that environment. I absolutely do not recommend the owner as a host, but I'm sure the property itself is fine. Just make sure you have a massive truck or a jeep or something. Again, the host was very unkind, at least to me, and I do not recommend rewarding. Somebody who treats people asked transaction rather than human
beings.

We enjoyed our 3 nights on campsite 1. Spacious site big enough for our family of 6 and our 3 tents. Pit toilet was conveniently located and appreciated. Water was available close by to keep our bottles filled and hands clean enough. Shower was great and plenty hot. Electricity was minimal but available via extension cord to our site. Enough to charge a couple devices or run our cookware at mealtimes. Firewood was available but not as much as we needed. We collected a truck bed full off the sides of some roads on one of our day trips out. That was fine just be aware if you like a big fire. (we were there during a cold snap, 35° nights brrrr) Pretty private and low-key. No one bothered us. Mark always was available if we needed something or had a question though. Close enough drive to Falling Waters State Park and Florida Caverns State Park.

The site is adorable and is about half an hour from the Florida caverns. We had a blast camping here and would definitely come back. Mark was a great host and responded to any communications we had while being there within seconds.

Secluded spot in the woods. Perfect spot for hammocks and tent camping. Lots of signs with easy access. Did hear dogs barking a lot but it wasn’t an inconvenience. Was nice to check out from life in the woods.

A great host, excellent wildlife spotting opportunities, and natural, peaceful surroundings made our stay at Secluded Forest memorable and enjoyable.
During our stay at Secluded Forest, my husband and I opted to set up camp at site #1. The drive-up camping plot was well-maintained and clean, and we had access to many great amenities included a fire ring, walking trails, outdoor toilet, shower, potable water, and more.
Our host, Mark, did a fantastic job giving this primitive Hipcamp a cozy, comfortable vibe. All around the property, colorful, handmade signage pointed to and demarcated features, facilities, and pathways. It’s evident that a lot of love and creativity went into making this lovely property
truly wonderful and special.
The grounds of Secluded Forest were both open and shaded. There are suitable spots to relax and recreate in any season. Those trees that provided so much shade are home to so many colorful birds. My husband and I were amazed by the robust celebration of birdsong and feathered fluttering heard in the morning just outside our tent.
For a superb, comfortable, safe, and convenient location, Secluded Forest is an excellent choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and would certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a laid-back, relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for your hospitality, Mark! This has been our

I was a huge fan of the camping lots here. It was a last second find. Secluded and well separated for my hammock/tarp setup. Mark was very friendly and helpful if we needed anything. The only downside was the wood was scarce but had enough to have a small fire to cook 3 meals. I’m thinking of making this my normal spot to camp monthly!

I booked this site for the star gazing reviews and I was absolutely delighted with how dark it got. Beautiful stars. I was lucky to have clear weather that night. He is so creative in how he designed his property for camping too with charming signs everywhere for fun navigation.
Beautiful area, lots of plants, even provides firewood, water, potty, and shower. Some sites have electrical cord. And some firepits have a rack to help cook. It's practically glamping! He is such a sweetheart and loves nature.

Very nice secluded primitive camping. Nice level sand areas to pitch tents and good fire pits. The Pitt and Sylvan Springs 15 mins away offer an awesome refreshing natural swim. The only negative is the neighbors’ dogs who barked the whole night non-stop.

If we are ever in the area again we will camp here again. The site was clean and spacious.. A shower with hot water. The set up is very original. Mark the host was very helpful. We enjoyed ourselves!

It was perfect for hammock camping. It had all the amenities you expect such as shower water and electricity and was wonderfully secluded! Mark was there and very helpful😊 Definitely great for families. 100% recommend and will be returning !

I don’t think we will ever find anyone as cool as mark, and as beautiful as his camp site. The good words I have to say about this man and his campsite are truly amazing. It is definitely secluded and so beautiful. We were a little worried about bugs, but this was the first place in Florida where we saw maybe 1/2 the ENTIRE time. The campsites are laid out so well. They’re huge, and have so much to offer. Mark was an amazing host and we couldn’t have scored better. He had no clue we were even the ones renting the campsite and saw we looked concerned and rushed out there to see if he could help. (We got there super late, and he is not lying about how dark it gets). I told him we were camping and couldn’t find the sit and that’s when we learned it was him. He led us to the campsite, and was super generous. He offered us a grill, he had electrical cords running to the site so my children could sleep with fans and our phones would stay charged. If we had questions he answered right away. He goes extremely out of his way to make sure you all are happy, and enjoy your stay. He offered us chairs, a battery charger, a wheel barrow, and even had our fire pits set and ready to be lit upon arrival! Our first night we accidentally left the door open so our battery died, though mark had to head out for work he didn’t hesitate to stay behind and make sure our vehicle started so we could run to the near by beautiful springs! His outside shower with hot water was truly a dream. Will be back!

The host is a really cool dude, his dogs are adorable. There's a lovely shower close to his RV, he just fixed the fence so campers can take a shower without his dogs saying hi lol. He has a power cord ran out so it's awesome to charge your phones or run a fan or something. Sites are big and plenty of room some have places you can set up a hammock. There are trash bins around the area. It is down a dirt road so wouldn't recommend a small car but it is doable, when it's dry it's just sugar sand so likely will slip around. Definitely recommend the stay though, power makes a big difference for us lol

We got to Mark’s land after a long day of traveling, and the path to the campsites and amenities were very well marked. The campsites were spaced out enough so that you and your group will truly feel secluded. I get why their are such great reviews, Mark is a friendly host with a great place for everyone to enjoy.

Beautiful camping area. Mark has everything! What a great host. So quiet and you can hear the peacocks across the street. It was incredible to look up and not have any light pollution. Mark answered all my questions super quick before I even booked. Got to bring my Great Dane and Mark was super understanding. The property is amazing. I had to leave early but plan on coming back in the next week or two!
