A Sacred Space for the Soul
From the moment we arrived at Sacred Forest, it felt less like a standard camping trip and more like a gentle return to nature. The space itself is breathtakingly lush and serene, tucked under a beautiful, shaded oak canopy that immediately makes you want to take a deep, grounding breath.
Kelli is an absolutely lovely and welcoming host. Her care for the land and her guests shines through in every thoughtful detail—including the donation-based kombucha on tap by the fire pit, which was genuinely delicious.
For a nature-centered site, the amenities are wonderfully accessible. The "indoor outhouse" bathroom was impeccably clean and easy to use, providing the perfect balance of rustic living with comfort and potable water. My pup and I had the most wonderful time wandering along the peaceful Pineapple Trail, truly connecting with the land and the quiet energy of the forest.
A quick tip for future travelers: Because you are fully immersed in a thriving, natural ecosystem, the no-see-ums and mosquitoes are definitely out and about. Come prepared with your go-to bug defense.
If you are looking for a calm, sacred space to unplug, slow down, and enjoy some time away, I cannot recommend Kelli’s sanctuary enough. We left feeling deeply restored and can't wait to return.
