Perfect Week at Cape San Blas Beach

We are seasoned campers but this was our first Hipcamp experience. It was fantastic! Jen is an awesome host! The property is private and so close to the beach! About 200 ft to the whitest sand I've ever seen. Our dog, Levi, had almost as much fun as we did. It's a deeded beach so we saw the same folks most days and made some great new friends. The property. The fresh seafood is out of this world. Be sure to visit the St. Joe Seafood Market and restaurant. Just a few yards down from the property, is the Trading Post which had a good stock for groceries and beach equipment. They even had a small liquor store that was surprisingly well stocked. Scallops has gas, groceries, and souvenirs. Port St. Joe is a beautiful little town with shops and trendy restaurants. You must stop by the Bayside Bakery & Cafe for delicious cakes and pastries. Our favorite restaurant was Cone Heads on the north end of Cape San Blas. It was as funky as the name and the food was superb. Unusual drinks too. Try the Traditional Expresso Martini.
All in all, I have nothing but praise for this little spot and our great host. We are coming back in the spring! Thanks so much Jen!

Location, location, location! Such a great week. Our plans for the week were to sit on the beach and this was the perfect spot. Clean, easy to access, and easily accessible hookups. Close to everything. Short walk to the store or St. Joe shrimp company for fresh seafood. Will definitely return! Great spot Jen!

Great communication. RV lot is a beach house size lot. We had no issues with the hook-ups. Beach at end of street is shared with all the beach houses on the road. Good first Hipcamp experience.

We had a fabulous time at Jen's place. It is well maintained, and just steps from the beach. It is also just a quick walk or bike ride to the Trading Post, Donut Shop, and Ice cream shop. If you want a relaxing beach vacation this is the place for you. I know we will be back for sure!

Very large lot with the gravel pull through set up. Great hook ups and just a short walk to the beach. It is bumpy pulling in and out, but just take it real slow and you’ll be fine. Caught a bunch of fish on the gulf beach. Two real nice black tip sharks ,2 bonnet head sharks , a few whiting, and a ray. Also the gravel parking area was dry with a 2 inch plus rain overnight..

Our first visit to Cape San Blas was awesome. The spot is fairly large gravel but has a flat area. Our 30 ft Class C only took up a small part. The utilities were easy to hook up. The beach is a 2-3 min walk and was actually almost empty. Our little dog loved the sand. Most of the homes were empty.
We looked at other private sites but none were as convenient so we will book with Jen again.

RV on 30E was a great location! The lot doesn’t have a water view but once you’re set up it was nice and private. It’s walking distance to The Trading Post with breakfast & lunch options as well as a fresh fish market. The beach area at the end of the street, however, was not accessible for us. Prior storms have eroded the beach so we had to drive to a public access which was only about a mile away and very nice. After reading reviews we also pulled in from Aruba Dr and set up where our door opened on the opposite side from the street for privacy. The lot is mostly level but we did have to use levelers for one side. Unfortunately Hurricane Helene caused us to have to cut our trip short as we were evacuated after only 1/2 of our vacation but we were relieved to learn that the cape survived with minimal damage. I think this lot is a great option to enjoy the cape!

Nice spot. The spot was easy to get in and out of with our 43’ fifth wheel. Within walking distance to a couple convenient stores and restaurants.

Great little spot for camping at the beach! You have about 6 house to walk past to get to the beach access but it’s a great little walk. The RV spot is huge. All the neighbors we met were great. The downfall is, if you have AT&T, you basically have no service on the Cape and there’s no cable access on the lot. We just went to the Goodwill and bought a DVD player and a ton of movies. If you have animals, watch for the sand spurs! We will be back!

If you’re bringing your camper or RV to the cape and looking for a lot, THIS IS THE ONE!! Perfect location! We took a bike ride from the lot to the state park, about 5.2 miles to the Eagle landing/scallop cove too . An 11 minute walk to Sand Flea rentals, and 1 minute bike ride to the Trading Post! We Will definitely book this lot again!

We stayed on 30 E a couple years ago and enjoyed it very much and was pleased to find it available when we made vacation plans this year. The lot is fairly big, much bigger than a camp ground, it very easy to get in and out of. It is a great location short walk to the beach. Close to the trading post that has groceries, liquor, food , donuts. There are many seafood options close by also that are all very good. We plan on staying there the next time we go.

We really enjoyed visiting this campsite! Short and easy walk to the beach. Far enough off the road to have privacy and has foliage behind/ on the side of the site for more privacy. Super easy in and out, we were able to pull in and set up very quickly. Really quiet street. The beach is a little limited in this area during high tide but we still had plenty of room and were never crowded with others right beside us. The owner was very nice! We will definitely plan to return to this site! :-)
