I went on a trip to get some relaxation. That was my main goal. The vibes of her property and the love shack itself were perfect. It had all the little touches you could ever imagine. Much more than a camping experience. It was better than staying at a hotel. The yard is an experience unto itself. Everything is decorated just so, to give the really relaxed, beachy, Florida vibe. It reminded me in a way of a mix between a tropical island and a tiki bar. But also, it was great that she has sustainable living processes in place. There is a composter for food scraps.
The love shack itself is really comfortable. It’s set up with everything you could ever need. I need a pen. It was there. Full set of dishes is there. A hot plate to cook on is there. Towels, washcloths, games for kids even. Even down to a yoga mat. Which I enjoyed quite a bit on my trip. I was traveling very late by motorcycle, so I didn’t have a lot of things with me. But everything I needed was already there. They did a great job setting that love shack up. I highly recommend staying here especially if you were trying to get some relaxed, chill vibes. It’s the perfect place for it.
The neighborhood is also very calm and quiet compared to the rest of the city of Saint Pete. I was really surprised. Driving there, I figured it was going to be loud and annoying. But the minute you pull into her neighborhood, it gets quiet and serene. I went for daily runs around the quiet, mostly car free neighborhood.
