Hidden Gem

Franks spot is such a cool hidden gem. It’s off a quiet local road, maybe about 200 or so feet for the power/water sites I was at - so traffic is minimal. Tent campers at rustic sites fare even better, probably around 400 feet from the road. Either way - a car only passes once about every 5-10 minutes at rush hour - significantly less frequent during quieter hours - and all you need is a set of cheap earplugs if you are super sensitive to road noise. I slept inside my vehicle and I didn’t hear anything. Frank is super accommodating and flexible. He lives on site so you know no shenanigans are going to happen - super safe. The sites are fairly close together however even on a holiday weekend it was just me and another camper in our area - 2-3 sites separated us. the property even has an onsite bar - unfortunately I didn’t get to visit since I was in the area for scuba diving at the local springs - devils den and blue Grotto are about 20 minutes down the road. As far as restrooms and showers go - the showers are fairly close to the hookup sites - maybe a 50-75 foot walk - the ports Johns are over by the bar around 200-300 feet away. I do wish they had a set of portajohns close to the shower area - but all in all no big deal. Exceptional value for the price honestly and I totally intend on camping here again - this time hitting up the bar lol

Site 6 - Pure Paradise Lebanon station

Frank was very accommodating and friendly. The site was quiet. There was a farm/makers market on Saturday morning which was a pleasant surprise. Bathrooms were clean. Bar on site with live music. Plenty to walk around and see. Definitely would stay again. No shade on site 4, so bring shade coverage. My only complaint: fireants were abundant and a completely miserable experience. Gonna put bring fire ant killer on my list for future trips.

Site 11 - Pure Paradise Lebanon station

I loved this place and I absolutely will be back soon. Whether you are looking for some alone time in the woods or you want to socialize, this place has it. Up front is the weekend bar and farmer’s market space, further back you will find super cool waterfalls and lovely space beyond. Frank is a fantastic host and the place is frequented by very good people. Contact Frank, you will not regret it!

I liked the location because it was within easy driving distance of Crystal River and Rainbow Springs where I had activities planned. No one was camping near me, so it was private and quiet. The bathroom and showers were clean. The waterfall was not on at this time (drought in the area). A friendly cat kept me company.

We were extremely happy with the property, the bathrooms were clean, outdoor shower facility had hot water, and staff were friendly. Frank was responsive and accommodating to our needs. Having the bar with food available was a plus. We will be camping here again.

Excellent stay would stay again

We didn’t know what to think before we arrived as we were just looking for a place to test out the new RV and Crossroads was very biker friendly. Turns out it was a perfect weekend. There just happened to be jack Russel Terrier races going on so there were dogs everywhere but the wife and I love dogs so it just added to the adventure. The campground was perfectly fine. Everything worked great. The only downside was we wanted full hookups and to get sewer we had to take a location close to annuals, but nobody messed with us or was loud. We walked the grounds and it was beautiful land. The waterfalls were all working and flowing as they should. We don’t drink much but the bar looked excellent. We did have a cheesecake on a stick and it was amazing. All in all it was excellent for the price. The owner was fantastic and very helpful even offering to let us use things if we forgot something.

For starters, the name is changed, so I thought I was in the wrong place when my GPS told me I had arrived. The sites are not clearly defined, so parking is rather hit and miss. There's a fair amount of road noise, but not enough to keep me from sleeping. The park manager was responsive and helpful, which I appreciated. I would go back for a short stay.

Our stay at Frank’s campground was great! Check in was easy and the ground was level for setting up our tent. After we settled in, he came around to make sure we were all set for the night! We had to leave early in the morning for an activity we had booked and check out was easy.

We had a great stay at Frank’s hipcamp. We only stayed overnight on our way south but would have loved to stay longer. The land is beautiful surrounded by forest. Frank was so helpful. We arrived late due to a tire blowout and he drove over to give us extra light. Hookups are new and perfect. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice sites with water and electric. Open grass fields. A lot of time and attention has been taken to make it a nice place. Showers and restrooms on site. Relaxing but not too far from grocery stores or nearby state parks. Rainbow river pretty close.

Great camping spot

Great camping spot! If you follow The Crossroads on Facebook you can see what events are happening. There is plenty of space across the property. Rv spots are large and a few with full hookups. Several with just water and power and plenty for tent camping. The whole property is impressive with tons to do. Frank and everyone else out there are super welcoming. We will be back for sure. Thanks Frank for a great weekend.
