This was our first hip camp experience and it was a great one! Don was an awesome host and very accommodating. Plenty of space for larger rigs and easy to navigate in and out. We really enjoyed our conversation with Don and he even taught my son a few new jokes that he will take with him on the road! Thanks again!

Huge property and tons of room to maneuver and turn around without ever having to back up unless you want to. Dan is very friendly and welcoming and the two days I was there, he worked in his shop so if you needed anything, he’s close by. There’s a trail that goes around the property that’s great to walk your dog and probably a good hike for kids too. It’s very quiet at night.

Stayed one night as a stopping place on our way to Naples in our 38’ motorhome with a towed truck. Don greeted us and was very friendly and helped us get situated. I would stay here again!

Great spot to stop right off of I-75. Directions given were clear and the site was easy to find. Very private and spacious for our off leash dog. She enjoyed running around and made a new friend with the host’s dog. Free dump available at camping world about 10 minutes away. T-Mobile home internet was 2-3 bars/good connection. We will definitely stop here again!

We ended up at Pop Pop’s place to evacuate from Hurricane Milton. What a wonderful host and property! Don and his wife were amazing. There were several others who also evacuated there too. Don made a bonfire one night and we all sat around the fire. It was really nice. Will plan another trip there to really enjoy the property and area!

Don was extremely welcoming and friendly.
His property is wonderful, spacious and a short drive from Lake City.
Utility hookups were great minus the sewage which can be dumped at a Camping world nearby.

This was our first time using Hipcamp! Don and His wife were excellent hosts! And very knowledgeable about my motorhome that needed a little work! So blessed to stay there!! Would highly recommend to anyone passing thru. Plenty of space to move around. We have a 45ft motorhome plus towing a minivan.
Also felt very safe with my family there.
You will not be disappointed!!

Ron greeted us as we pulled in .. l parked on large grassy area next to his shop building. Water and electric hookups. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this spot!

Friendly host. Quiet and flat out of the way spot not too far from the main road. Not difficult to find. Clear view of the sky for our Starlink. Nice trail for walking our dog. 50 Amps and water was great too. Highly recommend.

First time trying hipcamp and this was a great experience. So friendly, and Don helped us fix our tire issue on our camper,our 2 dogs loved being able to run around free,had a little trouble finding at first ,do not follow Google directions to turn on 124th rd! We will definitely stop again when in the area.

1) if you use Googlesps, DO NOT TRY THE 124TH ST ROUTE! GO FARTHER AND TURN ON LOW LAKE RD.
2) Don has great communication skills! Don't be afraid to message him ahead of time
3) he has LOTS of space, no worries there! Good, solid hookup available!
4) IF you have a small RV problem or questions, reach him well before you arrive. HE WILL KNOW THE SOLUTION, might have time to help for a fee. He knows RVs inside and out!
5) it's a nice, peaceful area, no security issues. Very safe. He and his wife are great people!!! Even his big dog is nice! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
6) I'd have to INVENT something bad to say about this stopover. NOT GONNA DO IT! He's a SOLID CITIZEN for sure! 👌👌👌

Don was great! He gave us super easy to follow directions and greeted us at the gate. The water was the best water we’ve had and it was dark and quiet! I can’t say enough good things about this property and the owners! If we’re ever passing back through this way we will definitely ask to stay here again!

Pop Pop's was a nice quiet place to spend a few days. We golfed a couple of times and enjoyed just hanging out. Bella, Don's dog was a sweet visitor a couple of times a day. We chose this place when looking for something close to I75 and I10 junction. This fit the bill perfectly!
