Old Florida Wooded Site Near Town

The are security cameras and motion lights. Great garden hose, but the water has a strong sulfur smell. The yard was wet but we had a nice gravel spot to park our WeeRoll. The yard is mostly fenced in and the yard was clean and mowed. The neighborhood was very quiet. Killer mosquitos with the standing water in the area. The picnic table and fire pit were not ready to go that weekend, but it rained a lot and we had things to do and see, plus pretty close to beautiful St. Augustine.

Easy access to St. Augustine

Overall it was fine for our needs. Although we never actually met our host, he was very accessible via Hip Camp messenger and phone. We weren't actually sure where to park when we arrived, and so picked a space, on the lawn, within close access to the 30 AMP hook up. The water hose was lying haphazardly on the lawn, with the spigot located round the side/back of the house. We ran the water through the hose for a couple of minutes before putting water into our rig. The house itself needed a little TLC to look presentable, and the near by neighbor properties were a little run down looking. We felt safe enough to sleep there at night and leave our camper there during the day when we were out exploring. Very easy access to all the sights in St. Augustine, which was why we were there in the first place! An affordable and quiet place for a night's rest, but without any real "Hip Camp Comforts"

I can't say enough about Christian's hospitality. We had a medical emergency during our stay and he was right there to help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The location itself was close to the beach and easy for our 24' camper. It could use some tidying up, but our camp location was not our destination, we were looking for a spot near the beach. The lot was safe and secure, it was quiet and easily accessible. Thank you Christian, you were truly a gift from God for this trip.

I loved the proximity to the beach which was less than a mile with an easy access to a walking biking path. The camping site was on a small trashy looking property with barely enough room to get my camper off the street.

We loved staying at Christian's place. He was very accommodating to us, and the property was perfectly located to conveniently get together with our family who were all visiting beachside. We'd definitely stay again!

We’re pulling a 33’ trailer and have lots of room to maneuver. The neighborhood is very quiet and we especially love all the Old shade trees on the property. One 30 amp power hook up on the pole inside the property. Depending on where you park, you might need an extension power cord for your 30 amp hook up. there is also water, but I recommend having some kind of water filtration system for your camper. The water is very iron rich. Great communication with property owner. I would definitely stay here again.

peaceful neighborhood

At the end of a quiet street, we pulled in and had a peaceful spot surrounded on our door side by palmettos, shrubs, and songbirds. Christian was very accommodating to our needs. As an independent remote worker, some days I need to work several hours even on "vacation", and it was a great spot for that, yet close to multiple beaches for play time. We were a little hesitant by the neighborhood, don't let it put you off. It's a very pleasant place! PS not enough space for a big rig - perfect for our 24' camper van.

This has the most amazing walk to the beach. The access is awesome and the path you take is very easily accessed and used. Enjoyed our walks in the sand. Quiet space and very welcoming host.
