Step outside your tent and enjoy private access to the lake or hike the state forest that's steps away from the property. This campsite it halfway between the beaches and history of St. Augustine or the college-town vibe of Gainesville. Relax on the dock, bike, kayak, or explore the cities. We provide a compost toilet, potable water, electricity, WiFi, fire pit, chairs, and a table (table available upon request). The campsite is within walking distance to the wilderness but provides all the amenities one needs to work remotely or simply enjoy a retreat-type experience. Your reservation contributes to the upkeep of the lovable, quirky chickens and rabbits who live and work here. Fresh eggs and rabbit snuggles available upon request!

      Rebecca’s property was absolutely beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. We kayaked and relaxed in the sun. Holding the bunnies was a definite plus. Highly recommend!

      Beautiful lake view camping spot conveniently located within 30 minutes to an hour of lots of springs and nature reserves as well as historic cities like St Augustine. Rebecca and her husband were superb hosts, very friendly and attentive to our camping needs. They had fresh eggs for purchase, which were delicious, and kayaks available to use on the lake. Being on their hobby farm with chickens, rabbits, cats and a dog made the rural camping experience even more enjoyable. There is a small compost toilet tent and the use of a hose to wash off when needed. It is cold, but refreshing! The gorgeous sunrises over the lake and the fantastic pier were the icing on the cake. Overall, an absolutely lovely primitive camping experience!

      The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The had a big pile of free firewood ready to go right by the fire pit and the lake view was nice
