Comfy camping/glamping in a tropical rainforest setting only 6 miles from Pensacola Beach. 17 miles from Navarre beach and 10 miles from downtown Pensacola. If you want a peaceful place to stay that’s near the beach and downtown Pensacola, this is it. You will have the vintage camper to yourself. Full bathroom with ice cold AC (mini split) and cozy heat for our mild winter days. There is a propane fire pit and a wood burning fire pit (bring firewood) and outdoor lights. It is very dark here in the forest and peaceful, with sounds of nature surrounding. Please do not disturb the wildlife, and never kill a snake. We like to let things live. If you have an issue, please contact me and we will come take care of it.Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Looking for a chill vibe? This is your place. Gypsy Rose is centrally located in Gulf Breeze, FL. Only 6 miles to Pensacola Beach, 10 miles to downtown Pensacola, and 17 miles to Navarre Beach. Gypsy Rose is nestled in a tropical forest setting. Our quiet neighborhood is just minutes to shops, restaurants, parks, the zoo and our beautiful Emerald Coast. Gypsy Rose sits in the woods behind my house, and next to a creek that runs out to the bay. She is a 16’ camper, birthed in 1985 with a 2022 makeover. She has a fun and colorful hippie flare. There is a very comfy double bed. The shower is the typical, somewhat smallish shower/tub. *Small water heater; make it quick. *There is a kitchenette; the stove is non-functional. The only source of cooking is a toaster, microwave, Keurig, and hot water kettle. You are welcome to bring your own outdoor cook stove as well. Please DO NOT use camp stoves indoors. There’s a nice patio area outside to sit and relax with a fire pit and also a place to hang the hammock close by. It is very peaceful here. If you want to be in nature, and experience something unique and zen…this is your place and I look forward to hosting you. **there is no TV in the camper…come and enjoy the peace and quiet and connection with nature, and yourself. There are books, magazines, and a couple of games. **COLD AC** A new mini split was installed in June 2023. Please DO NOT run the AC below 70° the unit will freeze up and not work properly. This mini split is also comfy, cozy, so don’t let the “cold Florida winter” scare you away. Winter is a great time to visit this area. You will have the camper all to yourself. My family and friends and I may be in the backyard, so that space will be shared. **Please do not enter the tiny house cottage in the backyard.
