Our campsite is perfectly located between Gainesville Florida and Ocala Florida with a short 20 minute drive to either destination. This property is Surrounded by horse farms, cattle pastures, natural springs, The World Equestrian Center, and many lakes and rivers. At the property itself you can visit with the cows, relax in the shade or hang out in our covered entertainment space. You will have the opportunity to truly experience all of the beautiful nature that central florida has to offer from kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding and even zip lining. There is so much to do within minutes of your camping location. You will experience total tranquility on this country dead end road yet be close enough to small food marts, local diners, and quaint shops to cater to any needs you might have during your stay. This property has wide open spaces for camping complete with a large 3700 sq ft pole barn common area with 10 foot ceiling fans, cafe style lighting, a bar top and seating for entertaining or eating, a large fire pit with bench seating, air conditioned bathrooms and running water. A great place to come alone or with a large group of friends. This farm property is a convenient 20 minutes from The World Equestrian Center, 8 minutes from Orange Lake, 10 minutes to Canyon ziplining, 15 minutes from Blue Highway Pizza, 20 minutes to Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, 28 minutes to Silver Springs State Park, 30 minutes to Cactus Jacks trail rides, 30 minutes to Santos Trail Head, 35 minutes to Hog Waller, 45 minutes to Rainbow River and many more exciting outdoor adventures. Site 2 is located under the big beautiful oak trees. You are welcome to pitch your tent anywhere in the trees to allow full shade throughout your stay. please note other groups will be visible if more than one group is staying at a time . We have plenty of space on our 10 acres for you and your guest with access to indoor bathrooms and outdoor shower options. There are no hook ups at this site but potable water is available all around the property. There is a large community fire pit and a large covered barn with power and lights for evening activities * We have indoor bathrooms with power on site for your use * we do have an outdoor shower on site for your use * we allow generators * you have use of the campfire space but you will need to provide your own wood *You must bag your trash and tie it up before placing it in our enclosed trash dumpster on site- make sure the top on it is closed to prevent animals from getting into your trash * if you have any questions please TEXT US as we do not always get HIPCAMP email notifications right away

Our newest addition to our camping options here at GC Farm. It's like camping but better. This adorable tiny cabin is 8'X8' complete with lamps, fans, 2 small fold out foam beds, chairs, a place to charge the cell phone and AC during warmer months. With 12 foot ceilings to give a spacious vibe, partial clear roofing to let in the natural light and a cute little front porch for relaxing in the shade you can say this space is as fancy as glamping can get. Indoor bathrooms and outdoor showers are only a few steps away. Come experience a true Florida country life paradise at our 10 acre farm & cattle pasture .This property is Surrounded by horse farms, cattle pastures, natural springs, The World Equestrian Center. At the property visit with the cows, relax in the shade or hang out in our cottage. You will have the opportunity to truly experience all of the beautiful nature that Florida has to offer from kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding, even zip lining. There is so much to do within minutes of location.The cottage is located on 10 acres of cattle pasture and cattle farm . It is an active cattle farm and employees will be on property Monday-Friday 7am until 3pm or 4 pm. You will be located between the barn and the white warehouse building. Guest are encouraged to relax in the outdoors, enjoy the fire pit and visit with the cows. The cottage is a 400 sq foot air conditioned space complete with a king size bed, chairs, a tiny dinette set for 2, and a kitchenette with a sink microwave and toaster oven (we do not have a stove or oven so please plan meals accordingly) and a full bathroom. Linens, towels, dish soap and shampoo are provided . We do not have have Wifi or cable so come prepared to read a book, play a board game, chat with one another, visit the cows or enjoy the quiet of the country . Just consider it a perfect excuse to disconnect with the outside world and spend time connecting with the people around you . Cow Farm Glamping Under The Oaks

Would recommend staying here. Super safe for solo (woman travelers) due to the ability to have a locked gate and locked on the door. The cabin is super cute and comfy to sleep. The hosts are super nice people. I highly recommend if you are looking for some alone time relaxing!

Great hosts! Communication was exceptional. Bathrooms were clean. Cows were a bonus and a friendly horse too on the adjacent properties! We stayed a couple nights and went to Silver Springs to kayak 25 minutes away.

This is a beautiful and secluded property despite being a short drive from a city. The trees provide delightful shade during the day and, when you step out from under the tree canopy at night, the view of the stars is breathtaking. Nature sang us to sleep each night. A lot of love has gone into this space. The communal fire area has comfortable benches arranged around it. Great bathrooms. Owner was most helpful. We look forward to returning when we can.

I absolutely loved camping here. Perfect area for tent camping under the trees. The ranch is beautiful. The host Katie went above and beyond to make sure everyone was ok. If you didn’t want to just sit and chill at your tent or rv, there was plenty of entertainment like karaoke, dancing, corn hole and a fire pit with swings. The food was excellent. I went there with one friend and left with many. Very clean bathrooms and outdoor shower. I will definitely go camping there again. ❤️

Such an incredibly beautiful place! I would recommend this place anyone! I have no doubt that I will be camping here again. Katie was an incredibly amazing host! She was very attentive to all, and stepped up and helped out whenever needed. Not just an amazing host, but an amazing woman. Also, if you’re looking for a place to get married outdoors, this is it!

We went down for the rock the country concert and can all agree that we had the most fun at the campsite with Katie and Kevin. Every night we had some fun activity that brought the whole campsite together like karaoke and had shuttles to and from the venue. Katie and Kevin were both super nice and very fun and they would be the only reason we would drive all the way back down to ocala again. The bathrooms and shower were both awesome as well.
