Campsite is good. But at least on our stay for three nights a loud generator or something similar started in the neighbourhood at 5am every morning. But the site itself is nice and private.

Joe and Sandra are great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. The property is a little tropical oasis on the edge of urban south Florida. Easy to get to if coming from Everglades National Park or from the Keys.

A great campsite I used as a base to explore Biscayne. Just a bit tricky to find entry gate the first time, but once there, it felt very safe and protected. After a long drive, opening the door to fresh smells of country greens and to starlit skies was a treat.

It is a nice fenced/gated garden spot to stay with a lot of farm land around but not too far from Everglades, Miami, and Biscayne areas. We were there during a cold snap and helped a frozen iguana thaw in the sun! Nice fruit trees and easy to have our dog there. 4 other RVs were there with us but still quiet and semi-private.

Decent site however the next door neighbor had a bunch of trucks and RVs One had a security system that beeped every 30 seconds. Host was not on site.

Easy to book, easy to find. Nice level site. Pretty little patch of Florida.
The rooster next door was not a great way to wake up. Luckily we needed to be out fairly early but I would have enjoyed the extra hour of sleep.

Great spot close to multiple national parks and entrance to The Keys. Loud at night with roosters and other animals, but didn’t bother me too much. Hosts were very kind and welcoming!

Beautiful property. Would definitely stay there again. The host was very nice as were the others staying there during my visit. Loved the fruit trees, hopefully my next visit I'll find some ripe ones!

Beautiful property perfect base camp for Homestead Miami Speedway. Very easy to find on the map power was clean. Water is available. Couldn’t ask for more. Definitely plan on returning.

A gem of a HipCamp that is a perfect stop before heading to the Keys. Really enjoyed a quick overnight stay. The site itself is secluded and really great looking. The only issues are a little tight entry gate for any longer RVs. There was also some noice from a next door property in the morning, but I would definitely say not the fault of the host.
Last thing is road right outside the property is not the best maintained gravel road, but it is ok if you go slow, and only a couple of hundred feet from the Main Street to the property.

Sandra and Joe were great! Sandra was quick to respond to messages. They were very understanding when we had RV issues and had to arrive after dark. Joe came out and helped with the gate and letting us know where to park. The grounds were beautiful. Our dog was very welcome there. Definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

With my family I had three nights at the peacock site. Joe helped us to back in and explained the fruits in his garden.
The site was very beautiful and peaceful. I can highly recommend this place when you want to visit the everglades and have a relaxing site.
As the site name already tells you, there is a Peacock running around. Sometimes you can also hear a rooster from the neighbour.
We where in mosquito high season and inside the everglades where millions, but just a few minutes away at peacock site it was okay.
Also without knowing before a lot of other activities can be reached within minutes.
My family and I where really happy and would always book this site again

I was greeted upon arrival and offered guidance with parking. I enjoyed a peaceful stay in this lovely green space. The fruit trees and palm trees are lovely. The electric hook-up was great for keeping cool in the Florida heat. The property is fenced and I felt safe during my stay. Plenty of room to walk my dog. The road is a little rough but I didn’t have any problems navigating a class C RV. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when traveling to the keys.

Sandra and Joe have a little piece of paradise and we were so happy to spend a couple of nights there. It is an acre and a half, fully enclosed property with a variety of fruit trees. It is really beautiful and peaceful. Our pup loved having free room of the place and even came face to face with a couple of wild peacocks! Joe and Sandra are lovely people and very accommodating. Highly recommend their place!
