FOB Pelican is a small peninsula surrounded by Little Pelican Bayou. We have an airstream camper, sleeps 3, an M109a3 army truck, sleeps 2 with an adjacent shower and restroom. FOB Pelican has an air conditioned trolley car converted into a bar that overlooks the bayou and a larger outdoor bar that overlooks the bayou. We also have a small beach with canoes and kayaks. There’s feeders that attract numerous turtles and fish to watch at feeding times. The bayou leads out to the Blackwater River accessing downtown Milton river walk or go south into the bay and Pensacola. We have an RV electrical and water hookup as well.Looking for an inexpensive lodging for one night or several. Small cleaning fee of $25.00 per stay. She’s a 1972 Vietnam era communications truck converted into a glamper. She can sleep 2 people equipped with a firm, queen sized bed. The Army truck (War Wagon) is on “FOB Pelican” which is a 4 acre peninsula surrounded by Little Pelican Bayou. We have a restroom-shower room within a few steps from the truck. Both the truck and restroom have air conditioning. The truck has wi-fi, television, small refrigerator and a coffee maker. FOB Pelican has an open-air bar, a trolley car bar, sandy canoe/kayak launch with free use of the canoes and kayaks. FOB Pelican is obviously military friendly with a military & police theme. The FOB is motorcycle friendly with a well packed asphalt driveway. You can keep your bikes dry under covered areas. The Army truck’s entry door is about 3 feet high requiring use of steps.

We had such a great time at little pelican! The airstream was awesome and the property was meticulously well kept. We enjoyed morning paddle in the kayaks.

A nice getaway!
Vintage Airstream on FOB Pelican
This place is a little getaway near home! The airstream was clean and vintage! Gene is a great host and friendly. Having access to the bayou was great, you can take out the kayaks/canoe and go for an adventure anytime. So much wildlife to see, from birds, fish, and turtles! Definitely will book again!

Vintage Airstream on FOB Pelican
Our stay at Litte Pelican was absolutely fantastic! The accommodations were spotless, the location was perfect for exploring the area, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We especially loved the cozy fireplace they had going when we got there and the amazing view of the river. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Milton Florida. Thank Chris and Gene for a wonderful mini vacation. We can't wait to come back.
