Loved the pirates den super cozy and private! Glancing at its finest. Enjoyed smores around the camp fire and played board games when it rained!

I had a great time here and Colleen was very responsive. The bed was comfortable and it even had a heated blanket for the chilly night. I recommend it for a relaxing time outdoors. You might hear an owl at night too!

Was a very nice place to stay had everything you needed. The house was very welcoming and showed us the place right away and made us feel right at home the showers were nice and hot and will be back. Oh yeah and the bed was great!

We absolutely LOVED staying at Colleen and Eddie's. The cabin was super cute and equipped with everything we needed. It was very cold the nights we were there but even with the extreme weather, the set up kept us nice and cozy. We had a beautiful time sitting around the fire, enjoying the quiet and serenity of the space. Colleen was super helpful all the way through the experience.

The little cabin was super cozy. Loved the fireplace. Firepit was nice and close by. Hosts were very welcoming and informative. Decently private. I'll definitely be back.

The cabin seemed ok but the toilet situation was not acceptable. It is a portable toilet located outside where the shower is. I booked for two nights and didn’t even stay one because of the toilet. I didn’t feel comfortable using it. The fence around it had large gaps. It didn’t feel private and there is no protection from the mosquitos and other bugs while using it.

Nice room but a little rugged on the outside and the portable toilet area could have been cleaner. Good shower Good AC . Upon checking in it was evident the room had been smoked in. The host said there was no policy one way or another....so it was smelly in an old smoke way.

This was our first experience with HipCamp. And it was AWESOME. We are 2 professionals from South FL , so it was a much needed escape from reality. Here's the scoop:
You arrive to a beautiful brand new converted shed. It has AC, simple utensils, grill ,fire pit, lights, and a VERY comfortable bed. It's "glamping mode" for sure. (There's even a hot shower)
We greeted the VERY nice lady and a friendly dog, and dropped our stuff off to scope out the town
That night, we went to the plaza near the spot, Beef o Bradys for some drink action, and Publix for our grillables (plaza is 30 seconds from the property so it's super close)
Back at the campsite, the night was EPIC.
We built a fire, played some tunes on the bluetooth speaker, and watched a perfect full moon rise above us thru the gorgeous woods. (We even saw fireflies!!)
We grilled some dinner and fell fast asleep.
You have nothing to worry about with this stop. It was literally perfect. Get out of your comfort zone and go!! (It was better than we could have ever imagined)
(Google "homosassa wildlife refuge" and do the walking tour, it was nearby and it was SWEET)
10/10 will rent again!!

My wife and I absolutely loved our glamping weekend at pirates den! Beautiful property with a really nice secluded camping feel. All amenities including a nice comfortable bed and AC. We will definitely be back.

Colleen was the best of hosts. She was very helpful with everything. The place was better than advertised and she did such a good job of showing us around. The cabin is very private and great for couples and families alike. I would 10/10 comeback

Private place. Safe. For the price was so much more expected. After sleeping on the ground for days in a tent. A super size blow bed up was awesome. Primitive maybe to glamper but perfect for a biker looking to stay dry while the rain passes.

We loved our stay at pirates den. Our host Colleen was great at making sure we were comfortable In her space. We had plenty of space outside for our dog on leash. Our site also had a great fire pit which we loved using since it was a little cold.

I had a very nice stay in this super cute little cabin. It was quiet and peaceful. Easy to find and as described. Colleen was very nice - she met me when I arrived, answered all my questions and gave great recommendations.

The pirates den was absolutely adorable. The space was clean and had everything promised from the listing. It did rain the entire time we were there but that was of course not the hosts fault. We didn't get to utilize the fire pit or outdoor shower but could really see enjoying the outdoor space when weather permits. Don't hesitate to book this listing. It's a gem!
