Paved shaded corner RV camp lot. 30amp ; 50amp, full hookup. Direct access from resort to the Ocala North OHV Trail System. ATVs and SXS welcome in the resort. The Ocala North OHV Trail System offers 125 miles of trail which includes a 14-mile motorcycle-only trail; 35 miles of trail usable by motorcycles, all terrain vehicles (ATVs), and utility vehicles (UTVs) less than 50 inches wide; and 76 miles classified as "mixed use," which means OHVs share the trail with licensed vehicles. (Must purchase trail pass from https://www.recreation.gov/vehiclepermits/74048 ) No Lake Swimming Advised. Small, shaded, & fenced dog walk area, sandy volleyball court and large activity lodge with pool table. Quiet hours 10pm-8am Monday- Thursday, 11pm-8am Friday & Saturday. No ATV or motorbike usage during these times. 5mph speed limit in resort. Both parental supervision and helmets are required for children under the age of 16 at all times while operating or as passenger’s of UTV. Operation of UTV after dusk strictly prohibited. Trash must not be left on your lot during or after check out. Trash attracts bears. Very nice site and the owners went above and beyond in keeping the site in excellent shape. The owners communicated very well before and after booking with any questions that I had. The site has a few shade trees that help provide relief from the Florida sun.

We decided at the last minute to head towards Fort McCoy to camp and ride our Polaris. I contacted Lisa and she responded immediately. I was hoping our 26’ trailer would fit on the lot and we were thrilled when we got there. BearPaws Retreat 65 exceeded our expectations! We had so much room, the site was level, private and perfect! So easy to get in and out, as we were towing the trailer with our 31’ motorhome. We loved it so much we extended our stay. The charcoal grill on the patio was so nice to have…after a day of riding the trails in the forest we cooked dinner outside every night. The folks that live in this community are all so kind and friendly. We cannot wait to go back again. Thanks Lisa!

BearPaws Retreat
This was our first time booking through Hipcamp and so glad we did!!! Bears Paw Retreat is a real gem of an RV spot!! Plenty of room for our 32’ super C and 26’ enclosed trailer with side by side. Loved the charcoal grill…we used it every night to cook after spending our days riding in the forest. The folks that live in the community are very kind and friendly. Lisa was super communicative as we booked it an hour before we arrived. We even extended our stay an extra day we loved it so much!! We can’t wait to go back!

The spot was a great location & very nicely maintained. We ended up leaving early due to it being way too hot to car camp (even with a fan) & the host was very accommodating!

Site has A nice large shaded concrete pad.Unfortunately , the KOA, advertises a fitness center. (it has none. )It advertises a dog park ,but it’s a small 40 x 40 Sandy fence area with a big tree in the center. The smallest dog walk I’ve ever seen. They are constantly out of waste bags and the trashcan overflows frequently. the pool is nice but unheated. They advertise a beach area, but it’s very challenging to get down to the beach area. it’s not a nice beach..Though ,if you have a ATV, this campground may be of interest to you. Other than ATVs , there’s not much of interest nearby . Campground offers no activities for adults . I ended up cutting my visit visit short by a month.. The owners have a large trailer that blocks the view on the site . ,I was very disappointed in this campground.
