Come relax and unwind on our 10 acres in rural Chiefland, the heart of the Nature Coast. Wake up to the quiet of the country, sipping your coffee while listening to the morning sounds of the birds. Deer are often seen on our property around dusk and dawn and sometimes the adjoining property has cows. We have a nice communal area with a fire-pit, chairs, hammock, picnic table and horseshoes. We also have corn hole and giant connect four on request. There are lots of places nearby to bike, swim, kayak, boat, fish, snorkel, hike, or just explore. We are only 20 minutes away from Manatee Springs; 25 minutes to Fanning Springs; 30 minutes to Otter Springs and Hart Springs; and about an hour from Ginnie Springs and Ichetucknee Springs. Homosassa is only an hour away where you can enjoy the Manatee tours or even book a swim with the Manatees. The cute little town of Cedar Key (25 minutes away) is on the Gulf with lots of shops, restaurants, a boat ramp, fishing pier and even golf cart rentals to cruise around town on. The Tiki Bar at Low-Key Hideaway is right on the water and has live music every weekend. We also have the beautiful and scenic Chiefland Golf and Country Club about 15 minutes away where you can golf and dine. Our small town of Chiefland is only a 12-mile drive and has shops, dining options, a Super Walmart for your groceries/supplies, and a flea market that is open on the weekends. Our little town also has several thrift and antique shops for you to browse. We have two RV and two Tent spots: Yellow RV spot = 70’x19’, Green RV spot = 48’x18’, Orange Tent spot = 30’x40’, Blue Tent spot = 30’x40’ RV spots with electricity = $35/night, and Primitive Tent spots = $15/night Amenities include: 30-amp Electricity – RV spots only, Fire Pit (shared), Hammock (shared), Picnic Table (shared), One Bathroom with shower for all guests, Horseshoes / Cornhole / Giant Connect Four available upon request. Trailer storage available if needed.

Works for a night! AT&T cell spotty

Great place to stay for a night. Rhonda and Kenny are welcoming, gracious hosts. They allowed me to pick my camping spot from among many possible places. I parked my overlanding truck in a great spot, under a beautiful tree, and I had a fantastic night of sleep. Cell data service (AT&T) was spotty … with the antenna bars going between zero and one. I was able to text back and forth, however, with the hosts and my family without issue. Using my hotspot for true internet surfing just wouldn’t work, so I was unable to do my remote work activities. Maybe if I moved around the property, I could have gotten better cell service. I don't know. The bathroom works, but is a bit rough. The key functions of the bathroom all work fine (flushing toilet and running water) and the space is enclosed on all sides, so it is private. There is a shower, but I never used it. The host let me know that it provides a few minutes of hot water, but then will turn cold. There is a fire ring outside and a very inviting hammock. I didn't use either of these. I would have no hesitation staying here again if I were in the area and needed a place to stay for the night. Thank you Rhonda and Kenny for providing a safe place to spend the night during my travels.

Rhonda and Kenny's land is a beautiful place out in the country down a dirt road. I was hurtfully grateful for Kenny's introduction and he had a nice conversation with me for about 30 minutes about a wide variety of topics very pleasant people. Surprisingly they had facilities with a bathroom and a shower very nice. I would happily camp there again.

Yellow RV Site
This was our first Hipcamp! The hosts were great and helped us to our site and helped us when we left. We ran out of water and they were so gracious to let us fill our tank! Location is rural so anything you go to is going to be about a 15-20min drive. Peaceful away from congestion. We had ota channels and also used our Starlink. Cell phone service was very spotty. Hosts were very friendly and willing to go out of their way when an issue arose. Overall a great experience! 😊
