This cabin is up to par with meeting the safe at home corona virus standards for cleaning. This great little turn of the century bungalow has it all. This home has recently been renovated to have all the upgraded amenities while still preserving that classic historical feel. Large amounts of trails out your back door. One will have easy access to the home with a keypad code to come and go as they please. If you bring a dog there's a $25 pet fee per dog per day! The village at Twin Lakes grew in popularity once gold was discovered in the area, with commerce centered there for area miners. In the 1860s, the area, then known as Dayton, became the county seat. When gold was discovered on Independence Pass, a toll road was established between Leadville and Aspen, making Twin Lakes the transportation hub between the two towns. After the silver boom in Leadville in 1878 to 1879, Twin Lakes became a popular summer resort, attracting the wealthy.
