Unfortunately I can't provide any info about the actual campsite itself due to not being able to actually arrive at the campsite since the host never responded to my messages requesting direct instructions and address to the exact location. I drove up to the general area that the google maps shares when you click on the main page and kept circling around the area hoping he'd respond but never did and was forced to cancel and now I am not able to even be refunded the money for the site. So feeling screwed over and can't say Id recommend.

Shay was nice to chat with. There's a nice 150 degree view and gorgeous sunset with view of pond and mesas. There are 3 dogs that sleep at your site and bark all night...got horrible sleep and I guess they expect you to deal with the noise😒 The dogs are friendly enough. I'd never stay again based on noise, price, amenities.

I loved to tent camp with my buddies here, we were stopping somewhere to stay near Mesa verde National park and this was perfect. Shah is great host and has some beautiful dogs too! Would highly recommend this place should you be in the area

Loved camping on Shay’s property. My partner and I drove 24hrs (from MI), Shay went above and beyond to help us stay out of the weather elements our first night as the weather was being unpredictable. He made sure we had enough wood for our fires and his dogs were very friendly coming in and out of camp. Overall great stay with Shay & highly recommend! Views were also amazing!
