The property is a mix of living quarters and a business with a beautiful 2-acre lake accessible in the summer. Hipcampers will be camping on a 10-acre property mixed-used and will have their own little piece of land and privacy to enjoy. They will find endless activities surrounding our property while enjoying their stay. There are miles of mountain and road bike trails easily accessed from the campsite. Rafting, golf, swimming, fishing, hiking, off-roading, dirt bike/ATV trails, Colorado National Monument, and the list goes on and on within a short distance. The campsites are just 2 minutes from downtown Fruita, offering easy access to good restaurants, great coffee shops a drink. You will find a grocery store, pharmacy, and gas station in the same area. To consider: Our place is great but not for everyone. We have three convenient sites, all with electricity and water and one with sewage. They all have great views and are very close to the town of Fruita. Every hipcampers can enjoy the beach and the pond between mid-May and October when its full. Swimming not recommended! The property is used by THE GONDOLA SHOP, which restores ski gondolas. Monday to Friday, you might hear some light noise and see employees walking around. For that reason and the potential hazard WE DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN on our property. We ask that all vehicles drive no faster than 10 miles per hour for the same reason. We will consider a group of campers or mix camper/tents roof tents as long as you have your own bathroom to share. Please email us with any requests you might have. We are open to discussing any inquiries. Between May and October, when our lake is full and usable, our place is great for gatherings and a big BBQ. Camp #1 / 30amps + 110V (NO WATER). We have a spot on the property for you to fill in your water tank, but there is no water directly at the site. This site is on an old concrete pad and will need some leveling. This site is close to the tenant's house. You might see some chickens running around, but your camper will face the opposite way, and you will get your privacy. We accept campers class B and C ONLY, max 27 feet for this camp. NO TRAVEL TRAILERS. It would be best to park nose 1st to access the electric post and back up to get out. This site has lots

Camp #3 / 50amps + water. This site is long and wide on compact gravel and will need some leveling. On this site, your camper/van will be facing the lake. You can drink your coffee with the singing birds. There is also a fire pit. We accept all campers on this site. Class A, B, and C, travel trailer, fifth-wheel. It's a back-up site with plenty of space to do it. This site could accommodate two or three campers for an extra $). Please contact us before reserving for multiple campers. Please check in between 2 pm and no later than 8 pm. ONE CAMPER + ONE OTHER VEHICLE PER SITE. Extra camper and vehicle are allowed for a fee.

Camp #2 / 50amps + water + sewage. This site is on compact gravel and will need some leveling. This site is very close to the main shop and the owner's apartment. You will see and maybe hear some action on weekdays. We accept vans, small campers, and motorhomes class A, B and C. It's a pull-through site very easy to park. This site could accommodate two campers (extra $). This site has no shade in the summer and no fire pit. Please check in between 4pm and no later than 8pm. ONE CAMPER and ONE OTHER VEHICLE PER SITE. Extra camper and vehicle are allowed for a fee.

Such a peaceful place to camp! The campsite was clean and Dominique was a fantastic host. This camp is removed from the bustle but close enough to everything. It’s the perfect spot and I highly recommend it.

This is the country life. It's quiet and peaceful out here. It's close to Fruita but far enough away you don't hear any train or freeway noise. We love staying here. We'll definitely be back

Peaceful, Quaint little pond, actually pretty good size. Birds nesting at night doming and going around sunset by the hundreds was incredible. Unique setting. May not be for everyone but it was awesome fo us

Dominique's place is quiet, private, and very peaceful. Our site was right next to a large pond with nice views of the Monument. It was very relaxing to sit out by the pond and listen to the bullfrogs and watch the stars. Easy to find and close to downtown Fruita and the freeway. We loved it and and will definitely go back when we're in the area.

Wonderful site #3, totally private, quiet and beautiful. Direct view of the Monument past the pond. Sunsets and sunrises spectacular. The birds were so happy especially the red wing blackbirds. Would definitely like to come back.

Great spot for a couple nights! The property was quiet and secluded but only minutes from town. We had a really private stay with incredible views! We loved every minute and would for sure stay again!!

We loved staying at Dominique’s camp! Everything was wonderful and the birds on the pond were lovely to watch. We stayed at the #3 site, located in the back. It was nice and private and right on the water. Also close to town but in the country feel. We will be back and very happy with our stay. Thank you!!!!! Bee, Brandon, and Odin 🧡

This is a great spot for a quiet evening and wonderful views. Dominique is so responsive and provides great communication. We also found it super cool that they restore gondolas onsite. Unique, quiet and great views! A little gem!

Our family and group of friends (9 total) enjoyed a lovely fall weekend at Dominique’s site #3. Dominique herself made a point to stop over and introduce herself and even was kind enough to supply us with a power adapter for our trailer! The site itself was lovely-our boys absolutely loved fishing off the dock (and caught quite a bit) and we also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night and roasting marshmallows. The only down side that we encountered was some loud machinery noise coming from one of the neighboring lots early the first morning, but other than that we had a lovely experience. We would go back!

A very peaceful setting surrounded by farm pastures. Only a couple of miles from restaurants, grocery stores and Fruita Information Center-where there is access to a dump station. The site offered water and electricity and we enjoyed the tranquility of the pond. A mowed path along the back of the pond allows you to walk your pup on or off leash. If your pup is well behaved they will have an opportunity to socialize with other 4-legged friends. Dominique is friendly-but not intrusive and was very informative and helpful. I find her business of modifying gondola is very interesting as well and hope to see her new creations on line! Thank you, Dominique, for allowing us to visit your property!

Our very first HipCamp stay was INCREDIBLE! From before we arrived to after we left, Dominique was very communicative and hospitable. Spot was beautiful and quiet, with a beautiful pond! It’s just a few minutes from town, which hosts quaint cafes and a few breweries. We even got to catch the awesome Fall Fesitval going on. Definitely recommend and it’s on our list to come back to!
