The spot was secluded from the other sites and it has beautiful views. Trees provide a bit of shade and the ground is nice and flat for a tent. Without directions from our friend our Google maps would have led us astray.

We enjoyed the camp spot. It was very remote and private. The fire ban had been lifted so we were able to enjoy a bonfire. The views were surround and it was by far one of the best “kept” properties I have ever had with hip camp. Level, clean and wood was ready. I would 100% recommend and will be back.
The only down side was the water was not available to full there as someone has damaged it, but it was an easy fill up the road behind ace. $4 (PS there is a dump station there as well)

Upon arrival, the host told me everything on the pole (including water) was for my use, and the listing did not say otherwise. After the water stopped working, we tried troubleshooting, but the host became frustrated when we could not get it working over the phone and he became agitated and irate, suddenly claimed water was not included, and said I was going to replace his $400 pump. He then repeatedly told me to leave even though the reservation was prepaid, and my stay was not over and threatened extra charges. He turned off the wifi in spite. After the stay ended and I left, he continued threatening me outside Hipcamp with unwanted messages and photos, which I consider harassment. This harassment continued even after Hipcamp told him not to contact me outside the app.

Russ was an amazing host. He was very accommodating to our family. He was very responsive and always helped us where he could. I’ve had several great hosts over the years but Russ ranks among the best hosts I’ve stayed with. His property is beautiful and very quiet. You don’t feel intruded on and I think we seldom heard a car. It was a peaceful getaway that was perfect for our family of 6. Others have brought up the hill into his property as being a challenge, I didn’t feel it was a challenge for us with our 30 foot camper.

This site/area is just beautiful. Our visit was everything we hoped and more. The surrounding views are amazing and Russ's land is immaculate. Russ was very accomodating and will no doubt return!

This is now one of our top Hipcamp faves! The camping area was a perfect size for our sprinter and we loved the firepit and wood available for use. Our 3 dogs loved exploring the area as well. We only stayed one night but appreciated the quiet area and beautiful views. We will definitely return

My partner and I absolutely loved camping at Bearadise acres! We did a quick overnight at Russ’s newer second site. Russ is very responsive and accommodating, and the site was very well maintained and thoughtfully stocked— great fire ring + wood! We can’t wait to come back with our friends in the future. This site is incredibly private with room to spread out! Two thumbs up!

Loved our time! We were taking our 3 week old newborn on her first camping trip with our 3 dogs. We needed a place with power hook ups and space for our dogs to run without other people (and dogs) around. This spot was perfect for our needs! There are others close by, but everyone was quiet and kept to themselves. We didn't end up having a fire since we did have a newborn with, but would be a great place to hang out at night. Huge pit, optional gazebo and Christmas lights galore on surrounding trees. Views are incredible and we had a great sunset both nights. Also far enough away from any light pollution, so the milkyway was visible at night. Drive in really isn't that bad and any vehicle could make it. I could see it being difficult a long pull-behind to get up the hill and onto the pad, but if you know what you're doing, it's certainly possible. Highly recommend checking this place out, and we will be back I'm sure. Thanks for renting out your pad, Russ!

Brought my cat out here and had an amazing time! Saw a couple deer and a whole bunch of hummingbirds! The plot has a huge fire pit next to a picnic table that Russ had stocked up with some wood already. He’s quick to answer and super helpful! The drive up isn’t bad at all, my little FWD Jetta that’s like 4 inches off the ground made it no issues. A few sites near it with RV campers but either they’re dead silent or enough distance away that we never heard anything!

We enjoyed 4th of July weekend in this beautiful and peaceful spot. Wildflowers were starting to bloom. The moonless night sky was breathtaking. Not a person seen or heard! Loads of beautiful birds. Buena Vista was about a 35 min drive or so. We appreciated the communication with the host
The foliage on the property is healthy and as one might expect, when the plants are moist there are mosquitoes. Not awful at all...just be prepared and all is fine. Roads coming in were fine for our 24 ft trailer and truck. Some sections were significantly washboarded. Again-not unexpected on dirt roads just take it slow. Needed to be precise turning our setup around at the site but the pad is nicely maintained and flat.
Highly recommend for a smaller trailer setup. When time allows we will be back!

Very nice, private spot with pretty views. Couldn't see anyone around us. It was very relaxing. Electricty and WiFi so we got to watch the Nuggets game! Responsive and helpful host. We will return!

A Great Find in Hartsel

We loved camping at Bearadise Acres! The property is secluded down some well maintained dirt roads, and has a gorgeous view of the hills. We were especially lucky that this year everything is so green!! We have a 50 foot truck and trailer combo but had no problems getting to or turning around at the site. There is onsite power, too, and you could choose to park near it on a level field, but it we opted to stay on the pad about 200 feet away from the power. We went outside and had the most amazing view of the sky - open sky in every direction with trees to hang a hammock close by. We will definitely be back.
Other notes: The host was also very responsive to questions. We did see deer on the property at twilight. There are neighbors within sight but far enough away that we never heard more than the faint hum of a genny occasionally..
