Alta vista is where it’s at

This place is special. Can’t say enough good things about the property, course, and hospitality of Jeremy (he greeted me on arrival and answered all my questions) Stunning 360 views and pro-level course and maintenance had me feeling like a professional. Getting to camp onsite was an added bonus - easy car camping setup that made my visit a breeze!

Canvas tent site 1

We had a great time staying at Alta Vista in one of the canvas tents over Labor Day weekend. The setup was very comfortable and well-equipped, and the hosts were kind. Their land is beautiful and peaceful, a nice mix of open meadow and woods. We enjoyed playing the disc golf course, and had an incredible sunset from the west-facing tent too! Would definitely come back, maybe with a group next time to rent out both canvas tents since they are pretty close to each other.

The pics don’t do it justice but in the best way. Booking was easy and Jeremy answered a few questions I had before booking. Day of we rang him and he was so helpful and clean in getting there. Got the warmest welcome from him and Jarren upon arrival and he even drove us up to our spot. we chatted for a while bc we all genuinely enjoyed each other’s company. The disc golf was amazing! Each hole was well crafted, signed and the tiny booms was such a thoughtful touch. And oh my god, the stars. You haven’t really lived until you’ve seen them here. Everything about this stay was perfect. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you guys for giving us one of the most special memories we have.

Peaceful Mountain Glamping

This property was absolutely magical! We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the peace and quiet that the mountain offered. Victor and Cripple Creek are small but charming towns, with lots of hidden gems and activities. The property itself was beautiful and the accommodations were perfect if you want a semi-glamping experience! We felt so lucky to be able to enjoy this gem of an area.

We loved staying in Jeremy's canvas tent! It was clean and spacious for my husband and I and our kids. The gas stove was a great addition. The disc golf course was very nicely done and a lot of fun to play! We would definitely recommend this space to anyone looking for a unique place to stay and play!!

There RV site on the property was wonderful. My partner and I had a relaxing and fun experience playing the 18 hole course and being able to stay on the ranch. Darth Vader (the dog) also had a pleasant experience enjoying the wilderness of the course and the other tent neighbors for the night. Thank you very much, will be back☺️

If you don’t book, yurt missin’ out

I had a magnificent time on Jeremy’s property. The yurt was spacious and comfortable and the bed was sturdy and cozy for a good night’s rest. The campground area provided a scenic, tranquil backdrop with plenty of seating and a pit to grill on. Jeremy’s hospitality was top-notch! He was a responsive and incredibly kind host who ensured my dog and I would have a pleasant stay. Overall, I’d recommend 100%.

This property is unquestionably incredible! The course is well maintained and absolutely stunning! I have seen some amazing courses and this one sits right at the top, hand down! To top it off, the camping experience here is unbelievable. This place is family owned and operated by people who are a blast, and a pleasure to be around. They will take care of you and let you enjoy every moment without bother. Plus there are porta potties (multiple)! I don't enjoy 85+ degree weather so it's a great place to escape to because it's 15-20 degrees cooler than the city. And it's only about an hour from Colo Springs and 2hr from Denver. Which leads you down a beautiful drive down scenic and historic road. If you like beautiful drives, this place is worth every second of the scenic road!My family enjoyed the place so much I booked a tent camp site the first time and then the yurt for the very next week! There are friendly unleashed dogs that live here. The three legged dog is such a sweetheart! Plus they offer offer disc golf lessons for anyone just getting interested in the sport and have a small pro shop with some great choices! The site or app HIPCAMP easy to maneuver to book sites and/or disc golfing.

My dog, Rudy, and I had a wonderful stay on Jeremy’s property! The scenery was beautiful and the yurt was spacious and cozy. It was a lot of fun getting to play the disc golf course as well. Would 100% recommend.

We loved the canvas tent so much! The tent was so clean and nicely setup. The bed was also super comfortable! The disc golf course was so beautiful! We met both Jeremy and his son while on the course, very nice. We had a great stay and can’t wait to come back!

Jeremy’s campsite was phenomenal! Beautiful views, off the beaten path yet super easy to get to, and the disc golf course is TOP NOTCH. He was a gracious host and even met us at the main road to guide us in because we got there past dark. Would absolutely stay again!

Outstanding stay at the Alta Vista Disk Golf Ranch!! The yurt was very clean, the bed cozy and the minimal furniture well thought out. The camp spot was well maintained and offered a grill, picnic table, covered trash can and propane fire pit. My husband loved playing the course and I enjoyed walking it. I had read reviews mentioning the neighbor’s dogs. We met Oden and Cherokee, the huge Great Pyrenees, when they came over to greet us shortly after outer arrival. They were super chill with our somewhat skittish bully rescue!! Other than an occasional bark in the distance, we did’t hear or see any more of them. It is obvious that Jeremy has put his heart into maintaining the property and creating a challenging course! My husband is planning to bring our boys for a long weekend in the near future. I would definitely stay here again!!

This place was GREAT! Jeremy was super helpful and responsive. The yurt was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Having the picnic table and pop up tent to dine under was really handy. The layout of the site is great. Nice sunset view. The porta potty was super clean and way easier than using a camp toilet. Our kids and dogs loved the place. We will definitely return.

Borderline Glamping, Very Nice

Jeremy is a great host, and this canvas tent is borderline glamping. I got the tent after having gotten sick from a dried out throat my previous trip from sleeping in my friends cheap backpacking tent. This canvas tent is completely different, I could feel the extra insulation/moisture as soon as I stepped in. It hailed pebble size chunks during the weekend and the tent didn't budge. The inside is set up like a mini apartment. There's a nice table, a nice dresser, a comfortable bed and a nice cot. My only advice is to still bring your sleeping bag, it gets chilly at night so you'll appreciate the extra layer.

This place is awesome!

This place was awesome! Jeremy was an amazing host, and the property was immaculate. There were two amazing Great Pyrenees dogs that patrolled the property that helped my wife feel safe from the wildlife as well as Jeremy’s sweet pup. This place was a perfect, quiet, peaceful retreat from life. Our few days there will be remembered fondly.

Alta Vista Disc Golf Ranch is a gorgeous place to visit. Jeremy is a super host and an absolute gem of a person. We had booked a tent site and when we arrived it was very windy so with our equipment we thought it would be very challenging to put up our tent and cook. We discovered the 🛖 yurt and asked Jeremy if we could upgrade. Luckily it was available we were able to stay at the yurt for 3 nights. It was super beautiful and the weather was gorgeous. Anyone would be very fortunate meet Jeremy and stay at his amazing property. The disc golf was enjoyable too.

Jeremy has the most beautiful, walkable land. The tent was perfect for my kids, dogs, and I. He took time to teach my kids how to play disc golf, and we all had a blast! I take my boys on many small trips each summer, but this week at Jeremy's left lasting memories for us. Thank you, Jeremy!

Alta Vista was a little peice of heaven. My biyfriend loved the course and even though I don't play the scenery was gorgeous. We stayed the night in the yurt, islt was cute, cozy clean and has a comfortable bed. Even the porta potty was the cleanest I've ever seen. Jeremy was an awesome host. I would highly recomebd and will be going back!

Our stay was so fun. The tent was clean and cozy and the site was private. The view was also really nice. Jeremy came by to check on us shortly after we arrived to see if we needed anything. The neighbor dogs came by to say hi and later that evening spent a little while barking. The barking stopped after about 30 minutes. We didn't get to play the disc golf course due to getting sick with a sinus infection shortly after we arrived but it pooled awesome. We definitely would love to visit again!
