The yurt was fantastic! Bridgette and Curtis were wonderful hosts and super responsive. The directions to the address were very clear and easy to navigate (especially since you’ll probably lose service) Bridgette greeted us upon arrival and left us some recommendations of where to spend our time in Santa Cruz. The yurt was homey and we enjoyed our time with our banana slug neighbors!!

My first experience in a yurt and it was amazing. Really cool spot with very nice hosts.
Had a lovely time at the yurt, it was very relaxing and they provided everything necessary for a great stay :) The location was a bit hard to find, don't trust Google, but once there I was able to unwind; their neighbors were friendly and welcoming and it was a wonderful place to walk with my dogs. My favorite thing in the yurt was the CDs and CD player, for whatever reason it made me so happy to just put a CD on :)!
I would very much like to go back and am so thankful that they are so dog friendly!
I got to connect with my college age daughter
We never bickered. (Mission accomplished)
The yurt was so comfortable, especially the mattress
Everything was clean and welcoming. We cooked and saved so much money by not eating out.
Cell phone service was spotty, however, this was such a blessing.
There is a great CD collection.

Had a wonderful stay in Bridgette and curtis yurt. Very friendly hosts. Nice and quiet secluded place to stay if you like redwood trees. Bed was comfortable and the yurt is tasteful. Will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful getaway at the yurt with our Labrador. Bridgett and Curtis provided all the amenities to make this camping experience feel luxurious. Nisene state park was only a 20 minute drive away for hiking through gorgeous redwoods,

The owners obviously put a lot of care into making this a great place to stay. It was comfortable and we had everything we needed.
This was my and my husband's first time trying hipcamp I have to say this was a wonderful first experience, we really loved the Yurt and how incredibly peaceful the location is. We were only able to stay for one night but the loved the setup of the yurt, everything is so thoughtful and cozy and the quiet is exactly the relaxing getaway we needed. Thank you Bridgette and Curtis for hosting us, we will definitely be back someday.

Our hosts met us at the yurt and made us feel very much at home. The yurt is spacious and comfortable and the surrounding woods were perfect for a relaxing walk. It was a very relaxing vacation.
Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful yurt. It’s so peaceful and we enjoyed walking the property looking for banana slugs. Really enjoyed using the kitchen which was fully stocked and the hot shower was amazing as well. This yurt is located within 20-45 min to many beaches, state parks, and restaurants! Bridgette and Curtis are kind and welcoming too!

The yurt was so cozy and well-furnished! The location was beautiful, with great access to nearby parks and a nice trail and road to walk around near the property. Bridgette and Curtis were wonderful hosts and were very accommodating when we had to have early due to a family emergency. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great to stay for a relaxing getaway! Bridgette and Curtis were great hosts and the yurt had everything we needed for our stay. The area is quiet and beautiful while being in close proximity to many things. Bathroom was great and the nice warm shower after our beach day was awesome. Can’t wait to return again soon!

This was such a lovely place to stay, I highly recommend and hope to be back! The property is gorgeous and the yurt is clean and cozy. Hosts are very communicative and helpful, thank you! We had decent reception for Verizon from the yurt and were able to access this site with a Tesla with no issues.
Feel lucky to have gotten to stay here. The hosts were incredibly gracious. The drive-in was easy and stunning. We went for a walk up the road and there was really awesome plants growing everywhere. If you’re thinking about staying here, you won’t regret it.
We had a wonderful stay at this yurt! Check-in was easy, and Bridgette and Curtis warmly welcomed us and showed us around when we arrived.
The yurt was quiet, peaceful, and had everything we needed—a comfy bed, hot shower, stovetop, mini fridge, microwave, and even fresh lemons from their tree. My husband and I were able to reconnect with nature and enjoy some much-needed time together.
There was no Wi-Fi, but we could get a bar of service to check in with our babysitter and kids. Honestly, it felt great to unplug and disconnect for 24 hours.
Bridgette and Curtis were kind hosts who gave us plenty of privacy after check-in. This is a great glamping spot, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Really great yurt! Has everything you need and it's a great location. Secluded enough in the woods but close enough to a very lovely town. Had a restful stay!
My one-night stay at the "Yurt with Slug Views" was exactly what I needed to chill for a spell & catch up on reading and sleep. The yurt strikes a great balance between a rustic nature experience and functional comfort—it’s clean, well-appointed, and has everything you need. The heaters kept the space cozy, and having a hot shower and flush toilet made the forest stay incredibly comfortable.
While the property feels entirely secluded and deep in the woods, it is actually a very convenient, quick drive into town.
Bridgette and Curtis are fantastic, warm hosts. They were highly responsive, met me at check-in, and ensured everything went smoothly. I would absolutely stay here again to disconnect.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The yurt is spotless, comfortable well appointed for this kind of dwelling in the sense that you can sleep you can work you can cook. It’s really fabulous. Being in the woods like this is amazing. The silence at night is profound. And the birds at sunrise are glorious. Bridgette and Curtis are amazingly warm hosts. Look no further!!
Bridgette & Curtis are wonderful hosts! Their yurt is situated in a lovely forested area, only about 15 minutes from the restaurants, cafes, and shops of downtown Soquel & the beach, and Santa Cruz is only about another 10 minutes. Their yurt is somewhere between camping and an airbnb experience. Situated among trees it was very peaceful. Lots of bird song and nature sounds. Wild turkeys and deer roaming and grazing. We loved how peaceful it was :) An older but still great yurt, very comfortable and had everything we needed. As a more immersive nature experience, definitely more than a tent, but not quite a fully sealed building, there will likely be some cobwebs and drafts. As of the time of writing this, two of the windows are mesh, which provides great airflow and a lovely breeze when temperatures are nice, but may be a bit cold during chillier nights or seasons. The curtains did block some of this when needed, and heaters were provided which can help make it more comfortable too. We were still comfortable and slept well. The kitchen had all we needed, the bathroom and shower worked well for us, and the water got nice and hot for a warm shower. We had a couple minor things come up and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. All in all, a great experience. If you’re looking for some peaceful nature time, highly recommend!
