Wonderland RV and Camping is a popular destination just minutes from Downtown Redding, Shasta Lake, Shasta Caverns, and much more! Nestled away just off of Interstate 5, our stunning park features 33 spacious RV sites, and a large open field for those wanting to pitch a tent, play some games or to let your children and dogs frolic in the sunshine. Wonderland is surrounded by a forest with a relaxing stream running alongside it. We have 30 amp and 50 amp electrical hookups available, water, sewer, WIFI and cable, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, our laundry facility, showers and bathrooms are available 24 hours a day for your convenience. Come discover the beauty of Wonderland! Also, there is a goat and a pig who live on property! In addition to Redding and Shasta, there are several attractions that should be on your itinerary while in the region. The mountain hamlet of Dunsmuir, home of top fly-fishing streams, a railroad museum, and the nearby Castle Crags State Park. Farther away but worth the drive, especially in the warmer months, is Whiskeytown Lake, a 3,000 surface-acre reservoir of crystal-clear water that’s perfect for sailing, kayaking, fishing, and windsurfing. If you prefer to stay dry, admire it from the shore and hike to the 220-foot Whiskeytown Falls. A drive to the east are the fascinating steam vents, mud pots, fumaroles, and Sulphur Works of Lassen Volcanic National Park.

Tucked away in a private lot in our beautiful RV park, this spacious fifth wheel is great for families, couples, or even solo travelers looking for a comfortable getaway or a quick stop! Come and enjoy the convenience of at-home amenities right by Shasta Lake, Shasta Caverns, numerous waterfalls, and more! This fifth-wheel provides sleeping for 6 adults and 2 kids. There is a spacious kitchen, fridge, two bedrooms, 1 loft, a pull-out bed, heated/massage chairs, and a dining area that converts into a bed for children too. Enjoy the TV, AC and heating, outside refrigerator and sink, fireplace, bathroom with shower, awning and outdoor seating area with a garden, and WIFI. There is also easy access to our laundry and bathroom facilities, creek, and meadow on property. Stayed here on the first and last night of a long road trip, sleeping in my car. They were great! I got in later (10 pm) the second time and they called to make sure when I’d be there and left the bathroom and WiFi codes for me in an envelope on the door.

Plenty of space to set up the tent and be away from other campers if desired. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. Decent phone service, nearby highway but not too loud. Facilities are clean and area feels safe. Will stay again.

We had a great night in the RV. The campground is clean and easily accessible. It felt safe. Jonathan is so friendly and helpful. There’s not a better person to run the place!! Everything was clean and J was very responsive. My daughter loved the little loft. We could have fit many more people easily.

This was the perfect place to stop over on our trip down to Yosemite. Very close the highway, easy to find, and our spot was pretty level. The hosts could not have been nicer! Johnathan and Wes truly cared that we were enjoying our stay and made sure that we had everything we needed to make us comfortable. The majority of the park is full-time residents, however we felt safe and it was very quiet. We would stay here again if passing through the area. Bonus: the laundry room was very clean and the washer/dryer actually worked very well! No extra time needed for our load of towels - which is always an awesome surprise!

Amazing spot. Very close to the interstate and within a half hour drive to some really pretty hikes. The super nice person who greeted me (im terrible with names) was so helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed this very much. The RV is super nice and spacious. Parked next to a mobile home community but in a private corner. It was great for our first overnight stay.

I have enjoyed the people there ,not in just a professional way . They are open and inviting and with a great working relationship between each other . I recommend them and would go out of my way if I were in that area. In fact I'm going there tomorrow for a week

Tent camping at #131 was great. Creek provided cool breezes in the Redding heat. Laundry facilities were clean and bathroom and showers were also well maintained. Vicki was helpful with my user errors with registration on line. I look forward to many more camps here.

I recently stayed at Wonderland RV and Camping in Redding and thought it was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well-kept and peaceful, with plenty of space to spread out and relax. One of my favorite parts was the big open field for camping—it gave the whole place a spacious, inviting feel and made it easy to enjoy the outdoors. Overall, it’s a great spot whether you’re in an RV or tent camping. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and scenic place to stay in the Redding area.

Tammy and Vicky are very accommodating and polite. Clean area, quiet rv neighbors, love the showers and bathrooms. Lots of open sites for a busy holiday weekend near all the waterfalls. Next to freeway.

I found the staff to be open and available. ( I checked in at midnight) They were attentive but not intrusive. I came here to do work that required peace and quiet. Some times you have to leave home .

We had some trouble with our vehicle so ended up pulling in after 9 at night. We were met with a smiling face and all the information we needed to get set up. The meadow camping area is fairly level. It's a bit of a walk to the bathroom (clean) and water (bathroom sink) - maybe 1 to 1.5 city blocks. A goat that was wandering around thrilled our granddaughters - great way to keep the brush back. You're right off I5, which is what we wanted, so there is that noise but it wasn't a big issue for us.

We would have loved to stay much longer. It's a lovely small park with enormous shade trees, a nice meadow and a little creek. Closer to the freeway but quiet. The best part is everything in the area! From the Lassen volcanic area to Shasta lake, throw in about a hundred waterfalls and we could spend weeks having a great time.

Tammy welcomed me and showed to an even better place on the property than the meadow. The nearby restrooms with showers were clean and easily accessible. She also gave me recommendations for a restaurant just up the road at the next exit at Shasta Lake.

Sites Are Too Small, But Nice Staff

The sites were too small and would not fit a car and a trailer. If another RV had parked next to ours, our awning would’ve touched them. The permanent neighbors sites were messy and unkept. The permanent trailer near ours had literal holes in it, and he had to park his car in the site next to ours because there’s no room for a car in these sites. We did appreciate the owner warning us about a possible hail storm, and the bathrooms were clean, but it was so hot that I couldn’t stay in the restroom for more than five minutes. The restrooms desperately need air conditioning. We paid $89 a night for this tiny site, with no pool, a hot public restroom, and a very old-looking laundry room, which in my opinion was not worth the money.

This site offers RV and tent camping that is super convenient from the freeway. The staff was great and very friendly. We got a lovely spot which offered privacy, but still easy access to the bathroom and showers. We look forward to staying here again!

Last week we stayed at Wonderland RV camping site ! From first minute we understood that this place is managed very well, host ,hear daughter and manager give so much true warm attention …. We feel welcomed! Bathroom with shover perfect clean, well maintain. Easy access water , and green trees surrounding with fresh air ! Our poppy curly long hair Spanish Water Dog was feel comfortable because because campground was maintained well no sticky grass or dry leaves around Definitely we will stay next time and recommend passing by campers and for long stays Ziggy,Vida ,Kiko

Tammy was responsive and accommodating to my needs! New couple tending the park, very nice, too. Great spot, kind people. I camped near the creek in the tent/rv section where there is electricity, instead of the A Meadow. The park was about 1/2 full felt very quiet and safe. I will stop there again when traveling! Nice spot, close to I-5-so a little road noise- no problem I went right to sleep.

We stayed at Wonderland for 1 night and found the staff to be genuinely kind and accommodating, which we really appreciated. They were helpful and made check-in easy. That said, the facilities could use some attention. The bathrooms had saloon-style doors that didn’t offer much privacy, and the showers were not very clean — I’d definitely recommend bringing shower shoes. The RV site itself had adequate hookups and worked fine for our needs. One thing to be aware of: there’s a train track nearby and trains do come through occasionally — they’re quite loud, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. Overall, while the people were lovely and the basics were covered, the facilities might not meet everyone’s expectations. With a few improvements, this place could be a much more comfortable stay.
