Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at WCR! Great place for a group (we were eight). So quiet and peaceful, far from civilization, that you can truly enjoy stargazing. The facilities were great (who doesn't appreciate a full fridge with an ice maker while camping), and we all loved hanging out with the donkeys. Easy to prepare meals for a big group, and appreciated having both gas and charcoal grills. The "casita" on the property that Tyler built is great, with kitchen space (toaster!), bathroom, shower, and a hangout area.
Tyler was so responsive to any messages and provided a cell phone at the space, should you have any questions.
Definitely don't rely on GPS. Tyler's driving instructions in his message were key; it's a windy way up to the ranch, even with all of the signage for WCR that Tyler has posted. Be cautious and take your time when arriving after dark, given the windy nature of the roads.
