Located on 20 private acres in the charming town of Pescadero, Venture offers a unique opportunity to slow down, spend time in nature, and enjoy the beauty of the coastside. Founded in 1964, Venture has welcomed generations of guests seeking connection, community, creativity, and memorable experiences in a natural setting. Today, the property features a mix of cabins, glamping tents, gathering spaces, forest trails, creekside meadows, and whimsical gardens woven throughout the campus. Spend your days exploring the redwoods, relaxing by the pool and hot tub, wandering along the creek, enjoying lawn games, gathering around the fire circle, or simply taking in the sights and sounds of nature. All lodging and gathering spaces are connected by short scenic walking paths, creating a peaceful and immersive retreat environment. Step back in time and enjoy the simple charm of the Nasturtium Cabin, a cozy two-room cabin tucked behind Venture Retreat Center's historic Main Lodge in Pescadero. Surrounded by redwoods, gardens, and the peaceful sounds of nature, this charming retreat offers a comfortable and relaxing place to unwind on California's beautiful coastside. Filled with natural light and whimsical, artistic touches, the cabin features two adjoining bedrooms connected by an interior door. Each room includes one double bed and one twin bed, comfortably accommodating up to six guests total. The front porch provides the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, listen to birdsong, and take in the peaceful surroundings. The bathroom is located a short walk from the cabin. Whether you're planning a family getaway, a retreat with friends, or a quiet escape into nature, the Nasturtium Cabin offers a unique and memorable stay just minutes from the beaches, shops, and restaurants of charming downtown Pescadero. If your preferred dates are unavailable, please send us a message. This cabin may also be combined with additional accommodations for larger groups.

Venture Retreat Experience

Our Retreat Center Package includes accommodations and many beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy, relax and rejuvenate with friends, family, colleagues, faculty, students and more. Our Serenity Yurt is a gorgeous 27' yurt, Majestic Tent Cabin, four (4) bell tents (two 10' and two 13') and one simple two-bedroom wood cabin. Enjoy our pool and patio, hot tub, and more! It’s possible to add more bedrooms, campers, glamping bell tents and campsites too. With a gas stove for heat and beautiful ambient lighting, the warm and cozy Serenity Yurt is furnished with boho rugs, comfortable floor pillows, side tables and small furniture accessories for added convenience, and two mini refrigerators. Heavy duty belle tents sleep singles or couples comfortably are tucked around the edges of the property underneath the trees. Our tent cabin comes furnished with a handsome antique king bed with extra comfy mattress, a small futon, kitchenette (mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, dining table) and dressing area, Plus, generous wrap-around deck and enclosed shower and bath. The nasturtium cabin offers a private porch entrance and two bedrooms, each with a twin and double bed, lots of natural light, and thoughtful artwork. The pool yard, a covered outdoor cooking and BBQ area, seasonal fire circle and beautiful meadow space. Depending on extant bookings, these spaces may occasionally be shared by guests. Services located nearby lodging include private outdoor showers, outdoor access baths, and portable flushing toilets. Ten cots with bedding are included for the glamping tents. Additional sets can be added for $55 each. Please note, if you are planning a celebration event or large group retreat, reach us directly so that we can learn more and make sure our Center is a good fit.

Majestic Tent Cabin in the Forest
Perfect place for us. Loved the tent and the vibe at the retreat. Right next door to the best beaches and hikes on the west coast. One hour to Santa Cruz and one hour to San Fran. Lots of driving along the beautiful coastal highway

Majestic Tent Cabin in the Forest
The place is truly magical surrounded by nature. So many spots to relax, meditate, soak in a pool or hot tub or warm up by the fire pits. Our glamping tent was magical and had everything you need. We definitely will be back, but This time with a group of friends to enjoy the property with a group of friends.

Majestic Tent Cabin in the Forest
So beautiful!! The bed on the majestic tent was truly like luxury with cozy sheets, comfy pillows, a heated blanket! I never wanted to get up. The land is so serene and peaceful, it’s rare to hear so that much bird song and see so much wildlife like a variety of bees, butterflies and more. The land was well taken care of and it was close to Pescadero, so lots to see and do. The accommodation was well designed and the outdoor kitchen was quite nice!
