Nestled among ancient redwoods at the end of winding Eden West Road, along the edge of Little Butano Creek, Venture is a NorCal hidden gem. Our roots are in the 1960s counterculture movement and we've long served as a haven for spiritual exploration, self-discovery, and personal growth. Just an hour’s drive from San Francisco, San Jose, and Santa Cruz, our special spot is the most serene escape when you're seeking respite, relaxation, or reconnection with nature. The campus offers a mix of dispersed charming cabins, a serene yurt, camping sites, and glamping tents. You can immerse yourself in the lush forest that surrounds us, soak up the sun, and explore creek-side beauty. Gather around the warmth of an evening fire or drum circle and enjoy the dusk and starshine coming on. Just down the street is Pescadero proper. A sweet little spot (nine hundred strong) and California coast perfection. You'll find gorgeous scenery, local food and drink, neat landmarks, beautiful places to hike and explore, fun galleries, and really, really good people. Creekside Camping

Creekside Camping accommodations include: two (2) lofty 700 square-foot Australian Lotus Mahal tents and five (5) ten-foot canvas bell tents. Enjoy incredible, flexible space on our 20-acre woodland campus! The mahals are furnished with rugs, floor pillows, side tables and small furniture accessories for convenience; the perfect foundation for your retreat plan or a comfortable, budget-friendly solution for group stay. Belle tents sleep a single or couple comfortably. Services located nearby lodging include private outdoor showers and portable flushing toilets. Ten cots with bedding are included for the glamping tents. Additional sets can be added for $55 each. When you book Creekside Camping, you can also enjoy much of the Center; our long and winding road, Butano Creek, sunny meadows and shady spots beneath the redwood trees. We’re powered by Starlink, so Wi-Fi is available, especially outside.

Majestic Tent Cabin at Venture

This gorgeous glamping spot is boho-chic and totally cozy. Think Safari Tent, but with eclectic and antique furniture; a dreamy king bed, dining/workspace, screened dressing area, and full-size sofa sleeper. Amenities include heater, fridge, down comforter, tons of pillows, and extra blankets. Plus, a kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, and a generous wrap-around deck with enclosed shower and bath. When you stay at the tent cabin, you can also enjoy much of our Center; our long dirt road, Butano Creek, our sunny meadows, and shady spots beneath the redwood trees. We’re powered by Starlink, so Wi-Fi is available, especially outside. While you’re checking out the campus, don’t miss saying hello to our chickens. They love a bit of extra attention. If other guest reservations permit, and our pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and fire circle are available during your stay, we can arrange access and necessities for a fee (Swimming Pool/$150; Hot Tub/$250; Outdoor BBQ & Cook Station/$200). Our fire circle is seasonal so during no-burn days or high fire risk in summer and fall, we switch to a gas fire pit. While you’re with us, we also ask that you observe the following guidelines to help us to be good stewards of Venture’s land and mission. Please, no pets without approval and keep your wits about you! Wildlife is abundant; stinging nettles and poison oak, ticks, and snakes in season. Bobcats, coyotes, deer, raccoons and over one hundred species of birds have been spotted on our campus! For your protection, and the protection of your four-legged friends, ask permission first, keep plants intact, and keep flower picking to a minimum. Gardens inside the pool fence are for the enjoyment of all guests. Gardens with goodies (greens, herbs, fruits) are a reward, we would welcome a little weeding in exchange for a snack :) When you pack, bring camping necessities: extra layers, flashlight, etc. During your stay, plan to spend some time exploring in and around our little town of Pescadero. California Coast perfection, it’s a community of 900 with gorgeous scenery, great food and drink, and really good people. Ask us for our favorite spots, we’re always happy to share! This holy trinity package (camping, cabin +pool) includes two (2) lofty 700 square-foot Australian Lotus Mahal tents, five (5) ten-foot canvas belle tents, and one (1) simple two-room wood cabin, plus outdoor experiences. The two giant mahal tents are set with rugs, floor pillows, side tables and small furniture accessories for convenience. Belle tents sleep a single or couple comfortably. The Nasturtium Cabin offers private porch entry and two bedrooms (each with a twin and double bed), lots of natural light, and thoughtful artwork. Outdoor amenities include in-ground (not heated) pool, giant hot tub, outdoor cooking and BBQ area, and meadow space. Depending on extant bookings, these spaces may be shared by guests. Services located nearby lodging include private outdoor showers and portable flushing toilets. Ten cots with bedding are included for the glamping tents. Additional sets can be added for $55 each. Entire Glamping Hideaway

This “Entire Property” ' rental offers exclusive use of our Center; all guest accommodations, outdoor common areas, and amenities. Accommodations include our newly constructed 27' yurt, safari tent cabin, two-room simple wood cabin, two (2) 700 sq ft Australian Lotus Mahal tents, and nine (9) canvas belle tents. Warm and cozy, the Yurt features a freestanding gas stove, center rug, beaucoup floor pillows, side tables and small furniture accessories for convenience, two mini fridges, a glorious skylight, and beautiful ambient lighting. Our Majestic Tent Cabin is furnished with a handsome antique king bed with extra comfy mattress, a small futon, kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot & kettle, dining table and chairs), a dressing area, and wrap-around deck with enclosed bath. The Nasturtium Cabin offers a private porch entrance and two bedrooms, each furnished with a twin and double bed, lots of natural light, and thoughtful artwork. Glamping Tents include nine canvas bells (seven ten-foot, two thirteen-foot) which can sleep a single or couple comfortably. The two mahals are decorated with rugs, floor pillows, side tables and small furniture accessories for convenience. Outdoor amenities include our in-ground (not heated) pool and patio, giant hot tub, well-equipped outdoor cooking and BBQ area, and meadow space. Depending on extant bookings, these spaces may occasionally be shared by guests. Outdoor access baths and private, outdoor showers (next to yurt and tent cabin) and portable flushing toilets and lovely outdoor showers near the Mahal tents and Nasturtium Cabin. Our Mini Redwood Retreat includes a 27' yurt, luxe safari tent cabin with enclosed shower and bath, and four belle tents (two 10' and two 13') with cots and bedding for each. Warm and cozy, the Serenity Yurt features a freestanding gas stove, ambient lighting, boho rugs, beaucoup floor pillows, side tables and small furniture accessories for convenience, and two mini refrigerators. The small and medium belle tents sleep a single or couple comfortably. Our tent cabin is furnished with a handsome hand-carved cherry king bed with extra comfy mattress, a small futon, kitchenette (with mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, dining table) and dressing area; plus generous wrap-around deck and enclosed shower and bath. So much hygge! Additional services include outdoor access baths and private, outdoor showers. Six cots with bedding are provided for the glamping tents or yurt. Additional can be added for $55 each.

Beautiful, comfortable, serene
Majestic Tent Cabin at Venture
So beautiful!! The bed on the majestic tent was truly like luxury with cozy sheets, comfy pillows, a heated blanket! I never wanted to get up. The land is so serene and peaceful, it’s rare to hear so that much bird song and see so much wildlife like a variety of bees, butterflies and more. The land was well taken care of and it was close to Pescadero, so lots to see and do. The accommodation was well designed and the outdoor kitchen was quite nice!
