a treehouse with a hot shower. can you believe it? It’s outdoors but private enough. There is a sturdy LLBean cot for your sleeping bag, 360 degree windows in a 7-sided redwood thingy in the trees. sleep with the birds. the WC is on the ground floor. only one qualification necessary for the guest: YOUTH. the ladder is vertical. I can’t climb it myself anymore. Okay, so I’m 83 and a ground floor bed is necessary for these old bones. it’s a great place to crash for the hardy traveler who wants to check out Arcata. a 10 minute walk to the plaza. there is a laundry on site. deluxe glamping in the city is what you get for $40 bucks and located in a very quiet neighborhood with your own off-street parking spaceA comfy spot in the trees
