Welcome to Toyo Farm! Escape to the peaceful beauty of California’s Salinas Valley at Toyo Farm, a unique working farm offering RV camping, tent camping, camper van sites, and event spaces. Surrounded by rolling hills, historic greenhouses, rustic barns, and wide-open skies, it’s the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature while staying just minutes from Salinas, Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur, Moss Landing, and other Central Coast attractions. Our spacious property accommodates RVs, trailers, camper vans, and tents, with select sites offering water, sewer, and electrical hookups. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, quiet evenings, fresh country air, and plenty of room to unwind. Please remember that Toyo Farm is a working farm, not a commercial campground or resort. We’re a small family operation, and you may not always see staff on-site. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Important Information * Use the address in your reservation: 26000 Encinal Rd., Salinas, CA 93908. * Do not search “Toyo Farm” in Google Maps—we have two farm locations, and only this location hosts campers. * Our entrance gate may be closed. If so, please open it, drive through, and close it behind you. * Quiet hours: 10:00 PM–7:00 AM. * Pets are welcome but must be under control. Please clean up after them, keep them off furniture, and do not allow them inside barns or event spaces. * Quiet, well-maintained generators are welcome during reasonable hours. * No fireworks. * Pack out all trash and leave your site clean. * Please respect other guests, farm operations, wildlife, and private areas. Washer & Dryer Available for additional Fee We offer 15-amp electrical service only (no 20-amp, 30-amp, or 50-amp hookups), and guests must provide their own extension cords, adapters, and any necessary converters to connect their RV to a standard 15-amp outlet. Weekend Event Notice Toyo Farm is both a working farm and an active community gathering place. Throughout the year, our barns and greenhouses host private celebrations including weddings, birthdays, quinceañeras, anniversaries, reunions, and other family events. Event setup may begin on Fridays, and on many Saturday evenings live music can be heard, typically from 6:00 PM until approximately midnight. These celebrations are an important part of our farm’s mission to bring families and our community together. If you’re looking for a completely quiet Saturday night camping experience, please contact us before booking so we can let you know whether an event is scheduled and help you choose the best dates for your visit. Frequently Asked Questions Do you have restrooms? Yes. Restroom facilities are available for all registered guests. Can I cook at my campsite? Yes. Propane camp stoves are welcome. Please follow all local fire regulations and safety guidelines. Are campfires allowed? Approved propane fire pits may be used when permitted by local fire conditions. Please check with us before your stay. Are pets allowed? Absolutely! Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome. Pets must remain under their owner’s control at all times, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. What amenities are included? Amenities vary by campsite. Please review your individual campsite listing for details about picnic tables, water, electric, Wi-Fi, hot showers, kitchens, and other available features. What should I do with my trash? Please use the designated trash receptacles or pack out your trash, and leave your campsite clean for the next guest.

Weekend Event Notice Toyo Farm is both a working farm and an active community venue. Throughout the year, our barns and greenhouses host private celebrations including weddings, birthdays, quinceañeras, anniversaries, reunions, and other family events. Event setup may begin on Fridays, and on many Saturday evenings live music may be heard, typically from 6:00 PM until approximately midnight. While the Japanese Courtyard offers a peaceful setting, some music may be audible during these celebrations. If a quiet Saturday evening is important to your stay, please contact us before booking. We’ll gladly let you know if an event is scheduled and help you choose the best dates for your visit. The barn provides a comfortable indoor space for meetings, meals, social gatherings, vehicle displays, educational programs, workshops, and group activities while the surrounding property offers plenty of room for RV parking, tent camping, and outdoor recreation. Tent Camp Out at Toyo Farm
This was an interesting experience. The owners, Mark and Angela, are very friendly and welcoming. They bought the property recently and are starting to make updates. Right now it looks a tad post-apocalyptic. There is a cool Japanese-style house front and center - no one lives in it and if you camp you can use the kitchen, bathroom, and shower inside which is a nice perk. The property is large and the owners don't really care where you camp. There are some 'sites' with picnic tables and fire rings near the house. One thing to be aware of is that there are 2 event spaces on site. The night we stayed there was a large baptism celebration at the back of the property with a dj (Mark actually gave us a heads up about this prior to us coming to the property). It was definitely loud but we popped in ear plugs and slept fine. Again I think the new owners are super friendly and doing their best with the property, but be aware it's a big of a mixed bag.

Tent Camp Out at Toyo Farm
When we arrived and saw the place, we forfitted the $49 and drove to Monterey. It was very strange. Nothing like the pictures, pretty creepy actually, we didn’t feel safe staying there. Very unorganized, no signs or directions- looked like tons of covered areas that were all tattered. I should have taken pictures. Yikes. We won’t be using Hipcamp again.

RV at Japanese Courtyard
This was our first time using HipCamp. We traveled from Wyoming and found this spot the day before we camped. It was definitely a "Dont judge a book by its cover" type of place, located in a old weed compound, surrounded by barbed wire fences. Pulling up, we were hesitant but were immediately greeted by Mark, the host, and made to feel right at home. He gave us a tour of the property, were shown where to grab a hot shower, were given access to the kitchen, and were told to let our dogs roam free. His wife Angela was also amazing and did a great job as hosts. They just got this property and have big plans for turning it into a bonsai farm. Id love to go back in a few years and see their progress. They will go far!

Tent Camp Under The Greenhouse
Cool and unique spot. Didn’t know what to expect with camping under a greenhouse but it was rad and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Added bonus is the hosts are fantastic people. Really enjoyed talking w them. And the amenity house with its full bathrooms, kitchen, living room and work space are super helpful. Plus the Japanese tea room and zen garden are a great touch. Such an eclectic place—would absolutely go back.

Amazing one of a kind stay!!! Mark, the host, was extremely warm and hospitable. He took the time to show us around his property and made us feel at home. He welcomed us to use the house on site as well, including bathrooms, kitchen and shower. His property is big and beautiful and he welcomed us to explore it. Also would be a beautiful place for events. Gorgeous sunset and nice view of mountains. It’s big enough too that there were other campers around but plenty of space to spread out. We did hear the other campers raving about this unique find! Quiet, secure and peaceful with a friendly host. He also let us choose from a variety of campsites, from dirt to gravel and concrete and we had a fire. Super flexible and down to earth, will be coming back!

Great stop on the way up to wherever you are going on the 101. Lots of room for dogs to roam and play. Host was great and let us know the plans he ghas for the place and it all sounds amazing.

Mark was very hospitable and gave me a tour of the property. I ultimately choose the building out back to stay out of the wind. It was nice to have electricity to charge my battery pack.

Tent Camp Out at Toyo Farm
We are so glad to have found Toyo Farm to camp at! Mark the host is super friendly, showed us around on his 40 acres. He made our camping experience there very pleasant! Our pups had grand time exploring his farm too. It’s not a working farm right now but currently in progress to be made as a big event space. We would love to return and stay there whenever we are in the area again!

Tent Camp Under The Greenhouse
We loved staying at Toyo Farm!!! My friend and I camped for two nights and got to pick where we wanted to camp.. we chose to camp on some grass under a pretty tree. Mark was such a wonderful host and we enjoyed all the amenities.. especially the beautiful fire pit (with s'mores and all)! We will be visiting again.
