Timberline Ranch (TLR) is just a hop off the highway—but a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Come connect with the land, experience nature, relax, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, or head out on an adventure to one of the many incredible outdoor recreation spots nearby. Timberline Ranch sits at the base of South Fork Mountain, offers private access to the Mad River, and is only 20 minutes from Ruth Lake, with countless outdoor adventures waiting for you. Enjoy rivers, hiking, fishing, boating, hunting, swimming, sunbathing, or simply doing absolutely nothing at all. It's all right here at your fingertips at Timberline Ranch. We hope to see you soon! 😁 We also offer space, trails, and fenced livestock areas for campers traveling with horses. Please inquire if you have any equestrian camping needs. 🙂 Make TLR Great Again! We're excited to share our property with guests and hope you'll enjoy the land as much as we do. The more RVers and campers who visit, the more we can invest in improving the ranch. One hundred percent of the booking fees we receive (after broker fees and direct property expenses) go toward infrastructure improvements at TLR! We are actively making improvements throughout the property. This summer's biggest project is remodeling three of our four bathrooms. One bathroom will remain open while the others are being renovated. It may be a little old and funky, but it's fully operational! Look for fresh, updated bathrooms by fall. A BIG shout-out to Collins Tile for helping make this happen! Next year, we plan to expand and improve the kitchen and dining area in the common lodge. This space is available to all campers and lodge guests. It's open now, but it's still a bit rustic and funky! Help us make TLR even better! 😁🙏

A peaceful tent site , nestled beside the (seasonal) creek with morning bird song and filtered light through the trees. Accomodates 2-3 med tents or a small/med rv.

Tent/RV By River

RV/tent site · Sleeps 10 · Vehicles under 50 ft

This site has morning and early afternoon direct sun, partial shade in afternoon. Can set up chairs/tables in shade under trees. No RV Hook ups but power is available nearby (at pump house in picture) to plug in for use. Standard 110 outlet. Easy river access. Small 2-3 ft step down embankment. Private and secluded island available for use so long as you are able to cross river. Summer crossing is slow and shallow. Can easily float day use supplies over ;) Island available for all TLR guests. All sites will be improved based on customer feedback. TLR is under development ;) While our site most likely isn't considered 'handicap accessible' - the land is fairly level and accessible. Its rocky and bumpy. You can select a spot with hard ground and your site may be suitable for you. There is no access to river on property available for wheelchairs. However, we do have access to a spot down the dirt road that you can drive up to and access water depending on your ability to maneuver rocky river bank.
