Discover the tranquility of Napa Valley on this secluded two-acre property, nestled amidst the splendor of surrounding mountains, two creeks (which may dry up during summer), and a variety of Oak, Bay, and Buckeye trees, along with wild grapevines. Just a brief 10-minute drive leads to renowned wineries and shopping, while downtown Napa is a mere 20 minutes away.
This unique property serves as both a private residence and a Hawaiian Cultural Center, where cultural classes are regularly conducted on weekends. The charming tea house, acting as a cozy mini cabin, comfortably accommodates two guests with its two single fold-out beds. Featuring a small "kitchenette" equipped with a mini fridge and single induction electrical stove, as well as a private lanai (deck) boasting seating for two, the tea house offers a serene retreat.
Rest assured, the tea house is equipped with electricity and WiFi, ensuring a comfortable stay amidst the tranquil ambiance of this idyllic sanctuary.
We had a wonderful 3-day weekend at this charming spot. The place was just as described and pictured, with just enough room for two adults and our medium-sized dog. The air conditioning was a lifesaver as we are not use to high temperatures, and the bathroom was a peaceful oasis. We did have an issue with the hot water, but the host responded quickly and fixed the problem. This cozy getaway is perfect for a quick escape from the city. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, which meant we didn't need to pack much. Just a note: this place is surrounded by nature, so it's not ideal for those who are uncomfortable around insects and bugs. Overall, we highly recommend this place for a relaxing and rejuvenating break.
We were expecting a little nature escape on own wine country trip, but what we were pleasantly surprised by was that we also got a glimpse of Napa hillside landscape as we were driving there, it happens to be a Hawaiian cultural center as well which was really cool to see. It's not just the two buildings, but rather several small "houses" surrounding the main house, all around a center area with string lights and a Hawaiian store hosting several artist's creations. We loved the fact that it was peaceful and quiet, that it was still relatively close to the town center, and our hosts (Kawika and his partner) were so warm and inviting, and had the cutest dog! Would recommend for someone looking for a unique trip north of SF!
