My Town Ranch Camping
WARNING!! This place does NOT exist. THIS IS A SCAM!!! My family and I arrived to a ranch that was closed and locked up. NO ONE answered my calls/texts/emails as to how to get in or sort things out. We followed the coordinates that were emailed to us, which led us to the ranch and there was no information as to how to get in. There were signs reading “private property” and a large locked gate. When we looked it up online, we followed another address that was given to us. It was very difficult to find, but we arrived at a place that looked run down and nothing close to the pictures posted. No one was there to help us. We had to drive all the way back home with all of our stuff. It has been three days and yet no one has contacted us!

My Town Ranch Camping
Lots to explore at My Town Ranch! While I believe it was/is a tad overpriced for tent camping, it was nice having firewood supplied to us for an amazing bonfire, and full bathrooms are always an added plus. One of the coolest, friendliest cats even hung with us by the fire all night. Love the surrounding area! Thanks for the hospitality.

My Town Ranch Camping
My Town was awesome. We stayed for one night with the kids and they loved it. It was super clean and well cared for, a lot of hard work and love has gone into this place. The Family and Ranch hands went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We loved the farm tour and the wide open spaces to just be. And those sunsets...my goodness! We were able to have a fire eventually when the winds died down, but its worth noting that is after dark. So if you have children, come prepared to feed them some snacks which don't require cooking so they make it through to dinner without melting down!

My Town Ranch Camping
SZ Ranch is INCREDABLE! This place is owned by Steve Zaritsky and he is the best of people. His ranch has been in his family for years, he bought it in the late 90's and has been working it ever since. He is hooked into the local farmers markets so when I was there Steve was growing watermelon, corn, and alfalfa. The Ranch is also filled with wildlife. He houses chickens, horses, a donkey or two and of course cattle. He farms the old way, the right way. I camped in the ranch which has an awesome fire pit, beautiful and clean bathrooms with clean and comfortable showers, a sprawling tree that offers glorious shade in the hot summer climate. Camp site 1 has a cute town ranch that is filled with ranch style saloon, jail and casino just for fun. The site also offers horse back riding, fresh chicken and eggs as well as other perks. Steve has aches of land off the back of the ranch that are more backpacker camping and also open for hipcampers. You can really connect with nature out here take in some amazing views and killer stars. The rolling hills offer up some amazing sunsets. The Ranch is quiet other than a few animal noises it's peaceful and serene. I would go back to SZ Ranch in a heart beat and I hope to make it back very soon for a nice clean shower and an enjoyable camping experience around horses. Steve also does the Farmers markets so if you are in the southern CA area and see the SZ Ranch booth go say hey! and pick up some of the best tasting eggs I've ever had, they do not disappoint. Can't say enough good things about my stay. You will not be disappointed if you choose to camp at SZ Ranch!
