This is our second time here - and it was even better than the first as the baby goats are growing and able to roam around the property as well..so we spent most of the day just watching the "goat TV" - and it was awesome!
The outdoor kitchen is great, as is the firepit area - both fun spots to hang out, relax and enjoy the view.
If you're into goats and turkeys and dogs and cats, this is definitely the place for you - we highly recommend it :)

Ani was very accommodating. We loved the “farm” experience. The outdoor kitchen & fire pit was a plus for cooking over the fire and providing a nice ambience for the evening.
We enjoyed meeting our fellow campers & sharing s’mores.

The directions were clear and easy to follow, and it was great to have access to a hot shower and toilet on-site. The site offers a lot of amenities that are appreciated.
That said, the cleanliness could use significant improvement. The presence of goats adds a unique, rustic charm, but in such close quarters, their waste was impossible to avoid. It's something to be aware of, especially for guests not used to barn-style camping and smells.
While the toilet was clean, the sink and back area were quite dirty, with visible buildup (possibly old toothpaste), and there were many cobwebs in the kitchen and bathroom areas, including the shower. The stove and sink could use a major deep clean. There were a few large spiders and a cat in the shower area, which may be off-putting for some.
The pictures suggest a tidier environment—it’s possible I visited during the off-season, which might explain the upkeep. To be honest, it was very off-putting and I was eager to leave in the morning.
The camping area itself is flat and easy to set up on, and the stars at night were beautiful. The location is close to a main road, so some traffic noise was to be expected.
Overall, the site has potential and some great features, but a bit more attention to cleanliness and maintenance is needed to create a clean environment.

Overall we had a good experience. I paid for early check in but when we arrived (1:30ish), there was no one there to greet us. Ani showed up about 15 minutes later. We didn't get a tour or any explanation of the facilities.
I prepaid for firewood and had to remind them the second day that we didn't get any. They made sure to put some by the firepit that night. Great view of the hills at the campsite. Steep walk uphill to the toilet, kitchen and firepit. The animals are super friendly. It was rutting season for the Billy Goat. He was extremely vocal our first night and pretty intimidating. As long as we gave him a wide berth, things were fine. The cats, dogs and other goats were very sweet. We did have a few issues with the goats head butting & chewing on our tent but I guess we kind of expected that with free roaming animals. The kitchen area had lots of equipment but the cleanliness was not great. I guess that comes with an open air camp kitchen on a farm with free roaming animals. The same goes with the bathroom area and compost toilet. Lots of cobwebs and critters and the sink and toilet seat could have been wiped down prior to guests showing up. The shower I took the first day was an ice cold one but once I contacted the host, they assured me that there was hot water and explained how to use it. I didn't try it again and just showered at the beach the next day.
There is no warm water for hand washing.
Not sure we would go back but it was an adventure for sure.

The animals made the trip. Every dog, cat, and goat was wonderful with my 4 year old. One large goat in particular made it his job to herd and guard her all over the property the whole time we were here, it was so sweet.
We woke up to the sound of turkeys gobbling and frogs croaking. A treat.

We loved camping there for one night! There was everything we needed in the open air kitchen. The fire pit made for a great camping experience and when we woke up the next day, we discovered all the animals living there: goats, turkeys, chicken, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, cats, dogs, ... We reconnected with our inner child.

Ani and her husband were awesome hosts. We were able to choose a spot to pitch our tent after we were given a tour of the land. Waking up and going to sleep to the sound of animals was something I wish I could do everyday. The dogs were especially sweet. We will definitely be returning for longer next time!

We had an overall great stay here! The tent site is flat and really large (plenty big for our 2 room tent + car). The outdoor kitchen had plenty of cookware, utensils, etc to make meals, as well as a fridge/freezer to use which was really convenient. The animals were really cute, and Ani's hospitality was wonderful. Location was only ~20 minutes to Elkhorn Slough where we went kayaking with the otters, and only ~30 mins to the giant redwood.
Some helpful things to note: The animals (roosters, goats) are really loud, really early. We had morning plans both days but if you want to easily sleep in this may not be the best fit (or bring ear plugs).
The property is right off of a road. Noise was minimal, but don't expect "off grid" camping vibes either. For us the convenient location to other activities was part of the choice to stay but if you’re looking to fully "get away in nature" this may not be it.
There are some helpful amenities to regular camping but it's still quite rustic. For example the bathroom sink was pretty dirty from being fully open to the outside, compost toilet has flies, outdoor kitchen has spiderwebs, etc. We're acustom to this kind of stuff but if you're expecting a 5 star glamping experience may not be the best fit.
Overall, if the things to note are in line with your expectations then you'll have a great stay! Thanks again Ani :)

Ani and Bradley were welcoming hosts. All the rescued critters were playful entertainment. Route to kitchen and bathroom was steep and inconvenient. Shower area needs seating for ease of dressing.
All in all it was a lovely setting with orchards nearby for fresh fruit.

The property is fantastic! The goats, cats, dogs, turkeys, and tortoise are all incredibly friendly, adding a unique charm to the stay. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful. The kitchen area, firepit, and bathroom are all superbly maintained. I would love to stay here again!

Enjoyed a memorable weekend at Ani's camp! Lots of friendly animals around with big personalities so if you don't mind occasional furry guests around you're camp space, you will have a blast!
Amenities were great to have, convenient firepit space and kitchen being the highlights.
Campsites are very adjacent with host home; but Ani and her family did strike a great balance between welcoming friendliness and giving us plenty of space to relax from busy life.

We just got back from a wonderful three days at this site - Ani's property is a unique and lovely experience! She has a beautiful property that is home to a whole menagerie of rescues: dogs, cats, goats, turkeys, roosters..and more! They're all calm and friendly, love head scratches and belly rubs, and will happily escort you to and from the bathroom and the amazing outdoor kitchen..it is a full animal experience, and we loved every moment of it!
The outdoor kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you need or forgot to pack, and the fire pit area offers the best view of the property and accompanying hillsides.
If you want to really interact with nature and sweet farm animals, this is the place for you! We highly recommend this property, and look forward to returning with friends in the near future.

I had accidentally booked the wrong date for my stay here, and all of the campsites were occupied for that night. But Ani managed to make room for my car in a beautiful spot and allowed us full use of the facilities. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating despite my mistake and last minute notice. The property is beautiful and the animals are such a joy to be around. If you are looking for something more private, I would suggest choosing a different spot, as the campsites are close to one another and to Ani's home. However, I really enjoyed getting to know Ani and the other campers, all of whom were friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I would highly recommend this site anyways because of the gorgeous views and cute animals, but Ani's hospitality was the highlight of our stay.

Nice spot to camp, outdoor kitchen with stove, fridge and view of the hills, amazing treehouse/platform in the Redwoods with comfy couch for naps/reading/meditation, firepit, outdoor shower and fun animals for ambiance!
The hosts are friendly and accommodating.

We had a great time at the campsite! The area was spacious, with plenty of room for both cars and tents. There were lots of animals around, which made it even more fun—especially for the kids. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely come back!

Trip full of memories. Kids will love this place as well as adults. If you were an animal lover, this place is a must. You’re literally in the middle of a small farm with the funniest animals with so much personality. My kids are used to rough camping, but my nieces and nephew that came with me are not. They usually camp in a huge updated trailer, so this was a whole new experience for them. Once they got over the idea of a composting toilet lol, they warmed up to the experience very quickly and loved every minute of it. They spent hours playing with the crazy goats and super friendly dogs. Everything was perfect. Beach is a 10 minute drive away. Sunset on the hill in the distance was so peaceful. Owners were very nice. We felt welcome and comfortable. My 7 year old niece did not want to leave after our 2 night trip. She said she wants to live there forever 😁 Thank you so much for the experience.

Great hospitality with all working facilities, located just 15 minutes out of Santa Cruz gave us a nice safe place to stay and the chance to refresh, lovely animals and good fun to be around highly recommend!

It was not for me. The person living there said we could pee anywhere which I found very unsanitary. There was also dog poop in my camping area when I got there and the next morning. Dogs came running up to us when we came through the gate which was a bit scary. There are a lot of goats wandering around. It’s in Watsonville, not Aptos.

Good quiet spot for a quick night stay. The goats and friendly farm dog were up to welcome us in the morning, happy to have a few pats before we headed off.
The site was nice and level, wood and a fire ring were available at the site.

We enjoyed our brief time very much. The hosts were kind and gracious and we loved being surrounded by the sweetest and friendliest animals: turkeys, chickens, goats, and dogs. It was really delightful. We hope to return.
