Welcome to Satterfield Summit – Your Off-Grid Escape in the trees Perched high above the stunning Crystal Falls Ranch, Satterfield Summit offers a truly unique, completely off-grid retreat where comfort meets wide-open wilderness. With breathtaking 180-degree views stretching all the way to the Central Valley on clear days, this is the kind of place where sunsets stop you in your tracks and the night sky feels endless. This private, secluded getaway includes both a beautifully remodeled 27’ RV and a cozy 25’ yurt—perfect for small families, couples traveling together, or anyone looking to unplug without sacrificing comfort. The RV is fully equipped with everything you need: a full bathroom with hot shower and flushing toilet, a complete kitchen with gas stove and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and a comfortable queen bed. Powered by solar and propane, it delivers all the essentials while keeping you connected to the simplicity of off-grid living. Just steps away, the yurt offers a peaceful, rustic experience with a full size bed, 1 lounge chair that converts to a single beds, solar power, Starlink WiFi, and a wood-burning stove—perfect for cozy nights under the stars. Outside, enjoy a fire pit, expansive open skies, incredible stargazing, and the kind of quiet you didn’t realize you needed. Whether you’re sipping coffee at sunrise or unwinding as the sun dips below the horizon, every moment here feels intentional and serene. Satterfield Summit comfortably sleeps up to 5 guests (2 in the yurt, 3 in the RV) and is ideally located for both relaxation and adventure. You’re just 10 minutes from charming Twain Harte, a short drive to downtown Sonora for dining and shopping, 20 minutes to Pinecrest Lake, and about 1 hour 15 minutes from Yosemite National Park. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with unforgettable views, modern comforts, and total privacy—Satterfield Summit is calling. Private and secluded, the property offers a peaceful escape free from road noise and traffic. Guests can enjoy 4.8 acres of private space with breathtaking views that leave every visitor in awe. Vibrant, colorful sunsets are a daily occurrence, and at night, minimal light pollution reveals a stunning blanket of stars overhead. The site comfortably accommodates 7 guests with one queen bed, one full bed, pull-out double bed, one twin bed and a fold out single bed. A full kitchen and bathroom are available, including a small bathtub and shower, with hot and cold running water in the RV. The yurt currently has no running water. Bottled water is provided; however, we recommend bringing additional drinking water for your stay. Most activities are located just 20 minutes from Pinecrest Lake, to downtown Sonora for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Black Oak Casino is also a short 15 minutes drive away. Yosemite National Park is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away.
