The place was clean and will kept and relatively quiet. Nice being close to town. I would stay there again.

I had a very quiet roomy place to relax. When the bathrooms with showers and especially the sink/s are finished which is likey soon, I will feel much better about staying.

This place is so cute! Not only do they run a wonderful farm, the space they have for hipcampers is thoughtfully set up. They had yard games to play and a pool. This place definitely is an extra nice camping space and soooo close to town. We walked from Savor Ice Cream over to here and though we walk alot, it did not feel so very far. Downtown is a maybe 40min walk. I'm almost a little afraid to leave a good reveiw because I want it to be open for us next time we travel to chico. Im in love with this place! I highly recommend! And if you get a chance, buy a box of produce!! It was beautiful and they don't spray pesticides! Hu what? They care about your health?! What?! Haha! Also the hosts are very friendly and helpful. This place is a gem!

Perfect location to check out our incoming CSUC freshman’s new hometown. Hosts were very accommodating and grounds very comfortable. Minutes away from downtown & lower Bidwell park. I’m sure we’ll be back ~ thank you Matt & (Ch)Kristie!!!

River Oaks Gardens is a lovely spot and so convienently located near Chico. The green lawn campsite area was very pleasant.

We loved it! Kids loved riding bikes and playing tetherball. The grassy area we pitched our tents at was really nice, super close to town, very convenient and easy to find.

Nice spot for us to stay while visiting our son at Chico State. Bathroom was clean and easy access. Grounds were nice and quiet. Consider staying here instead of over priced hotels in Chico.
We had our dog with us and could walk the farm lands to enjoy the area. Bonus was that Matt allowed us to pick the oranges, tangerines and grapefruits on the site. Sweetest oranges we have had in years. Will repeat in future.

Has RV hookups! I was passing through to head to the redwoods and Matt’s rv site was a perfect spot to fill up and stock up in town.
The town in about 5 minutes from his spot!

The location was awesome! Close to everything, but still secluded! Matt did a great job communicating and keeping us updated on what to expect! We will definitely stay at Matt’s again when in the area!

Matt walked us around his family's farm. It is a work in progress and we are excited for the potential it has. They have gone to great lengths to create a campground where guests will feel comfortable whether they are spending time outside or in their campers.

I was looking just a secure parking to stay one night. After big storms the property was little bit a mess. I was fine with that, not a problem at all. Many orange trees with fruits! Clean restroom. I had everything I could ask.
Matt is very nice person, he let me choose parking spot closer to restroom. It was very kind of him.

Great grassy area for kids to run around, very quiet and private, easy to pull in and het setup. We were in a 30 foot RV and didn’t have any problems. Great communication from the host.

The yard was interesting and nicely laid out. Pleasantly dark tent site, with nearby picnic table for eating/cooking. Bathroom was clean, and host was friendly and helpful. Road noise, but otherwise peaceful and pleasant.

Matt’s camping spot was just as described. Booked last minute with my cabover camper and he responded quickly. We met up and he ran through all I needed for a great stay. Had a little trouble with my truck and he was very accommodating while I worked through the problem. Friendly host and great property! Can’t wait to come back.

This was a perfect place to camp while I needed to be in Chico. Ten acres right outside of the city. Would be easy to bike to the center and back, something I will do the next time I'm there. Lots of nearby roads for pleasant bike rides through the almond orchards. Much recommended!!

Matt was great! Clear communication and he came out to great us, showing us around his property. We pitched our tent in his backyard then headed to Sierra Nevada brewery to enjoy the evening and get some work done.
Came back at night with no issues. Pool was available and offered but we were too tired to join in. Bathroom was very nice and kept up. We definitely recommend staying here. Great host and very close to town.

This was such a great site to camp at with our kids. We all enjoyed cooling off and playing in the pool. Bathroom was convenient and clean and it was super great to have garbage disposal available. Matt was a very thoughtful, communicative, and generous host!
