We loved this place so much. The campsites are amazing… The trees are whimsical, and the beach is so dreamy. We cannot wait to stay here again, and cannot recommend it more. Everything was perfection.

The campsites are literally on top of each other, no privacy whatsoever. They are so close together that safe social distancing becomes impossible. Extremely crowded and overpriced.

This campground is amazing! Very close to the Russian River, so much variety in the camping types from tent camping to RV camping and grounds are well taken care of. The Russian River Pub next door is a total plus!

Great weekend by the river

We had a great weekend at River Bend Resort. We were in Cabin 8. It was clean, comfortable, and pretty spacious for the 2 of us. The picnic table and firepit area was spacious and private. The site was next to the path down to the beach and really close to the bathroom/shower. There is a good amount of stuff to do at the campsite as well as in the region, it's a short drive to Guerneville which was a fun small town to explorer. I would definitely come back.

Close to the river - less secluded

The site was easy to find and get to. They have ample overflow parking and clean bathrooms. The site has a fire pit and appropriately advertised space. You’re close to a private river beach which for us was super nice since the weather was HOT. Definitely the sites are fairly close to each other (maybe 10-15ft away in some cases) so if total seclusion is what you want, this might not be the spot - but was good for what we wanted (outdoor summer camping for 2 days with the river nearby). Staff was friendly and helpful. Will book again!

Great store- totally stocked with camping goods. The RV section is very open, but the tenting area looked a little more woodsy. All the kids looked like they were loving life. It was an easy crash pad for day trips around the Russian river valley. If you are scared of Paul Bunyan, steer clear!

The campsite is really awesome. Host Kelly and Michelle were amazing. They were great at ushering you to your campsite, since we got in there at night VS just giving you map. The bathrooms and showers we're really well kept and clean . We rode our bikes to a couple of the wineries close by as well. So location wise too, we we're very happy Will stay here again

(Stayed 2 nights in a cabin) Nice family friendly campground with RV, tent and cabin sites throughout the property with the private beach as the highlight. The cabins are located along the main path to the bathrooms, so there will be a consistent flow of foot traffic and not much privacy. Overall, good tent alternative located close to the beach with a general store onsite that has essentials.

We booked this campsite the day before with little research done. They way we booked we didn’t pick a specific site but were assigned one by the camp once they approved us. This was a slight gamble but we had never been there before so we didn’t know the best sites anyways. If you want to book a specific spot you can do so on their website. Kelly gave us one of the best sites that was away from the others and seemed twice, if not three times as big as the others. It had its own path down to the river and overlooked the river. I later checked out the spot online and had we booked this one through their website it would have cost $80 more so Kelly gave us a deal. The spot was 100% in the shade and very private. The campsites all have a fire pit and 1-2 picnic tables included. There a really clean bathrooms and newly remodeled showers in the middle. There is a game room with an arcade, pool table, horse shoe play area, and like 2-4 playgrounds. If you want to float down the river, from one side of the camp ground to the other takes about 30 min (even though it’s a couple min walk) or you can drive down to sunset beach (5 min drive) and have about 1 1/2 or float time. There is a really nice pub next door for beers and really good food as well. Also if you run out of anything (fire wood, coffee, ice, toys, etc) the general store has you covered. All in all we will for sure be back!!!

Michelle was an amazing host. She met us when we arrived and explained all the campsite amenities in detail as well as guided us to the site and showed us where we could park. She even informed us about a large group camping with them before we arrived and put us in a more secluded area. When we went up to the campsite store to buy firewood later that night they even put it on their car and delivered it to our campsite themselves. The campsite was beautiful and very close to the water and the beach. The next morning after check out they showed us where we could park for free and enjoy the river all day. This one one of the best camping experiences and I would definitely come back and camp at river bend resort.

The place was great...loved the bus and the access to the beach was wonderful. The team was there to help with everything. Only downside it they list having wi-finbut access was very spotty. Perfect if you want to get away from it all.

River Bend Resort was a very lovely place, with great facilities and friendly staff. However, the price for tent camping was much higher than other similar private camping grounds. Other than that, it was charming stay.

Family of 4 w/2 kids (3&5). Wasn't our first choice but had the previous spot double book us with 3 days notice. The campsite is a bit crowded with several large groups. Pretty loud in the evening with music and groups singing loudly, but quieted down at 10pm. Facilities super clean, cold showers littered across the grounds. River isn't as close as advertised - about a 10-15 min trek (w/kids and wagon full of stuff) - but it's a great bend in the river with a mellow water flow for the kids (3&5yr old) while also having another section that's deeper if you want to take a swim. Wasn't too busy when we got there. More transparency on the camp site would be nice - anticipated a drive-in spot but was told on arrival that was not the case. Was able to pull up about 50 feet from camp - but then had to park at a lot further away - not close enough to leave stuff in the car for quick access. Again, great back up plan for a last second booking. Would definitely come back due to the great river spot and kid-friendly environment.

Great place for families! Easy access to the beach, playground, face painting and movies on Saturdays. The cabin was comfortable enough but also rustic enough to feel like we were "roughing it." All the staff was super friendly and helpful. Very close to Guernville.

This was NOT what we were expecting...we were looking for a relaxing, remote campground -- this was more like a kids' camp with tiny, very close together camp sites that were in now way relaxing or remote. That said, if you're looking for a campground with tons of activities for kids (and tons of facilities -- nice bathrooms, showers, laundry, movie area, etc.) and you don't mind hearing a disney movie playing at crazy loud volume all evening, it would be a great family destination.

The pictures are not an actual representation of what you will get. Sites are one in top of each other and made to accommodate huge groups. If you are looking for nature and remote camping do not come here. We were at a site one foot away from our neighborhood and there was no green to be seen. They put up cubicle like fencing to split up the site as they are litterally one next to each other on a big dirt pile. Half of the resort is for motor homes, the tent site has a good 30 or so sites all cramped together. It gets loud and rowdy.

Not nearly as secluded as advertised. There are dozens of sites (not just two), nestled very close to each other. Each site also does not have water and/or electric hookups as suggested. Additionally quiet hours are not rigorously enforced so we heard several neighbors and radios into the wee hours of the mornings. On the plus side it does have kid friendly activities (face painting and movies) and the beach is pretty great.

River Bend was a beautiful and accommodating place to camp! Upon arrival we checked in and were led to our campsite, which was perfect and right on the river. There were a bunch of amenities at River bend, and if you forgot anything the general store had you covered. We loved floating the river and would definitely return again!

We all loved the magic bus, our son especially LOVED staying on the Magic Bus & having his own loft room. The beds were comfortable, and the bus was equipped with power, lights, and a mini fridge (FYI no bedding or pillows, so don't forget to bring yours like I did!). There is a playground right next to the bus, witch was great for our son, but could get a bit loud at times. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with paper & soap at all times. We stayed during a holiday weekend, so they had a lot of kid activities...face painting, bingo, and movies. It was so fun for our son, and we loved the opportunity to get some adult time during the movie! The staff and the hosts were all so nice & informative. Loved how close we were to the river & loved the private beach, we will definitely return!!

River Bend was perfect! Beautiful site on the river...river access is very easy...a short stroll from most of the cabins and campsites. The river is very "glass like" at this spot, with a private beach. The staff was great and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We will definitely be back!
