Site was a bit hard to find and out the way but offered great views and a somewhat private camping experience. The shed cabin was nice but we slept in our roof top tent instead. The ground in front of the tiny cabin is not very level so make sure you bring levelers if you plan on sleeping in your vehicle/roof top tent. We like that there was a table, chair, and a compost toilet.

What an awesome little cabin! Such an amazing place to watch the stars or take in the amazing vistas from the hot tub. Highly recommend this beautiful piece of California that Benoit has made fun to enjoy!

Breathtaking views and star filled skies at night. Benoit is completely accommodating and very friendly. Really everything was just so beautiful and peaceful and we had a great time. I hope to return in the future to the tiny cabin up on the hill.

I loved everything about this site: the location, property, adorable tiny cabin. Both the cabin AND the outhouse were spotless and spider free. The host was great. The property has wifi, and my TMobile phone had service. Gorgeous, quiet, sweet.

This is a beautiful spot with a cute and comfortable cabin and opportunities to explore the sweet hidden nearby pond. Benoit is a wonderful host. Be sure to get some of his delicious eggs while you are there.

Beautiful place !!
Ben greeted me as I was pulling in, great chat he gave me a quick run down of the property. I really enjoyed my stay , gorgeous cabin well constructed, very charming. Awesome views overall. Ben provide me with two sleeping bags , I also brought one of my own, it was cozy in the cabin bring a couple of extra blankets of your own. I hope to come
by again in the near future.

Beautiful location, loved the lake and having a splash around with the kayak, the hot tub was great too. Lovely little cabin with plenty of space if you sleep in the top section. Rustic but great. We loved it

I had a great time during my stay. Walking into the cabin and greeted by the ultra woody smell was a warm welcome. The cabin is obviously small but it has everything that you need. Be extra cautious when climbing up to the loft bed as it's a bit of a tight fit and you can bang your head and knee when climbing. I highly recommend grabbing a sandwich/snacks at Santa Margarita Market and hiking to the Rinconada Mine if you have the time for it on your trip. Nighttime was gorgeous with all of the stars out. I was surprised that the cabin stayed relatively comfortable temperature wise throughout the night but I would recommend to bring extra blankets just in case. I didn't have any issues that required me to contact the host, but he seemed very willing to help if anything did arise. Overall I had a really nice time and would stay again!

Country Sky Rustic Tiny Cabin
A great little getaway, and cannot recommend the tiny cabin enough. It is well appointed with two beds, and a nice table inside, and a great comfortable chair on the porch to take in the view. I also recommend checking out the pond and taking the kayak for a spin while you visit. Great host, great property!

This spot is great - as advertised, it is very simple with no amenities but it's super cute and on a stunning hill with views for days. We love camping and know how to exist in spaces like this - we brought our own bedding, pillows, some flowers, etc to make the space feel more cozy and truly had a lovely time. We loved how out and in the middle of nature the space feels. And all the lovely add-ons, like the hot tub, are so great. We enjoyed our stay so much! Will definitely be back.

This place was so magnificent, I didn't want to leave. The little cabin was clean and smelled good. The mattress was comfortable, and the quiet was so welcome. Outside the frogs were singing and the birds took over in the morning, I got a visit from a friendly bee, and Benoit directed me to a lovely path down to the pond. There were more possiblities for pleasant wandering than I was able to take advantage of. I bought some honey as a gift for a friend and we both loved it. Benoit and his land are outstanding hosts!

We had the very best time!! Such a special place. It rained during our stay, but the cabin was so cozy. We brought some board games & listened to the rain all night. Benoit was a wonderful host. If youāre seeking a nature getaway, this is just the place for you.

We loved our weekend on Benoitās land! Itās peaceful, beautiful, and close to so many wonderful hikes and towns to explore. The hot tub under the stars was an especially nice experience too. Benoit is extremely communicative, open, and friendly. We hope to be back!

Benoit's place is a lovely quiet sanctuary nestled in the hills. I camped at Stage Coach Meadow. The site was very private with bushes sheltering the area. The hot tub soak after a long day of hiking was very welcoming! I highly recommend it! The remote location without light pollution is the best place for stargazing too! Benoit was super responsive to any questions I had and showed me around the property when I first arrived. All in all, I had an excellent stay!

Benoit was a fantastic host, even when he had to step out, he made sure we were taken care of and made us feel so welcome. The site was absolutely beautiful especially the sunrise, it's been awhile since I've felt that connected with nature. If you get the chance, book it!
