Nomad is a remote dry camp wirh plenty of space for small RV’s, van lifer’s, or campers. Ideal for overlander and self sufficient campers. Plenty of space for 2 adults and kids. Situated uphill from Overlandia dry camp. This camp site has no hookups or access to main camp. Guests should plan to be self sufficient and to pack it in/pack it out.

Overlandia - High Desert Solitude

ACCESSIBLE BY 4x4 ONLY. If you do not have a vehicle with high clearance, all wheel drive/four wheel drive, your booking will not be accepted. Overlandia is a small group campsite (2-4 vehicles) in isolation. The site is perfect for small groups who know how to dry camp. No services are provided at these sites other than the plot. Enjoy being tucked away in a private valley surrounded by Anza Borrego State Park. A few steps (literally) and you are in the park and free to roam. Wildlife in the lower valley is abundant. Packes of coyotes can sometimes be seen and often heard, hawks, owls, reptiles, etc. A sweet spot for nature and isolation lovers. The night sky in Ranchita is EXCEPTIONAL. Stargazing, night hiking, etc. Weather can get windy, but for the most part is mild compared to the lower desert. There are two separate units in Overlandia and plenty of flat spots for a tent or your rig. A fire pit and picnic table are provided. The owner lives up the hill but out of site of your camp. Please do not enter the homesite. Overlandia and Homesite are not visible or audible to one another. No water, no restrooms. Please plan to pack out ALL of your waste.

Watch the sunrise from your bed, enjoy the desert colors at sunset, and gaze at the Milky Way. * **Open-Air Living:** On beautiful days, a unique pop-out wall opens to expand your living space and let the fresh desert air flow through. * **Cozy Comforts:** We provide a plush down comforter and pillows for a comfortable night's rest (Sheets NOT provided, BYO) * **Off-Grid (with Perks!):** The cabin runs on a small solar power supply (perfect for lights and charging phones) and, yes, **WiFi is included**! * **Camp Amenities:** Your private site includes a fire pit for cozy nights and a table for cooking. * **Facilities:** A clean, private composting toilet is just steps away. --- 🏕️ Know Before You Go: Leave No Trace This is a true backcountry-style camping experience. Please read these rules carefully. * **Pack It In, Pack It Out:** You **MUST** bring all your own supplies, including water, food, and firewood. * **Leave No Trace (LNT):** All campers are required to **pack out 100% of their waste** and trash. Please leave the site exactly as you found it. * **Privacy:** The A-frame and your campsite are entirely private for your use. The property owners may be present elsewhere on Pool Ranch, but they will respect your privacy and will not be at your campsite. The owner's quarters are private and not accessible to campers. If you're ready for silent nights, endless stars, and a direct gateway to desert adventure, The Anza A-Frame is waiting for you.
