Our little piece of the Earth. Welcome to our Hipcamp page! We have two accommodations: The Rose City Garden Studio and The Pepper Tree Cottage Tiny Home. The Garden Studio is unavailable at this time. Our property is located at the base of the San Gabriel mountains in Pasadena. 15 minutes (traffic permitting) from Downtown LA. Come enjoy our delightful and unique space on Aprox. 1/4 acre. Nature and serenity close to the big city. Read more about the property in the site descriptions. Message me with questions!Enjoy a tiny home experience close to the big city.  The Tiny Home Cottage is located at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains in the city of Pasadena.  This is a very special spot. You'll enjoy getting fresh eggs from our hens and picking fruits and veggies (when in season) from our large permaculture garden. Please note: the Cottage is right next to the coop, you will absolutely hear chicken sounds.  Stay 15 minutes from Downtown LA but feel secluded and part of the natural world here in The Pepper Tree Cottage. AC/heat, WiFi, full kitchen. Greenhouse bathroom is technically outdoors (see photos) but very private. Towels and many toiletries provided. You'll have your own private patio area next to the Cottage as well as shared areas throughout the yard. My young adult sons and I live here on the property. We look forward to hosting you in our delightful and unique space. **Note: Photos are from when I listed this space here previously 5 years ago. Some of the furnishings have changed. I'll post more photos soon. It's delightful either way.

Enjoy a tiny home experience close to the big city.  The Tiny Home Cottage is located at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains in the city of Pasadena.  This is a very special spot. You'll enjoy getting fresh eggs from our hens and picking fruits and veggies (when in season) from our large permaculture garden. Such a lovely cottage ! Perfect for a weekend getaway. The space succeeded any expectations my girlfriend and I had, the chickens were a pleasure more than anything. Cynthia is such a generous host, we highly recommend this space !

We had a wonderful stay in this tiny home. From our morning breakfasts next to the chickens to the evening glasses of wine on the patio. This was a truly magical stay.

Spent my birthday weekend in this lovely tiny house. The vibe is so fresh and inviting. When the sun sets the light is magical. Plenty of parking and the neighborhood is nice. Book it, you won’t regret it.

An Unexpected Oasis
The Pepper Tree Cottage Tiny Home
The Pepper Tree Cottage was an absolute oasis close to everything I needed to get to in Los Angeles. Cynthia was super responsive and was very attentive to what our needs might've been! The cottage had everything one needed and then some! The place was clean, the instructions were clear, it was private and the outdoor shower was so special! Cynthia has also made sure that anything you might've forgotten to pack is provided... from toothpaste, deodorant, lotion, ear plugs, robes, slippers, sanitary items, shampoo, conditioner... EVERYTHING! I highly recommend the Pepper Tree Cottage!

Cozy inspiring everything you need
The Pepper Tree Cottage Tiny Home
Cynthia's cottage made all of my tiny house dreams come true! We arrived during a pretty bad storm and were very happy to be in such a cozy space. It had an awesome wall unit that heated the space well, there were slippers and bathrobes and thoughtful touches throughout the space. The tiny house was beautiful from its design to its finishes to its layout and the proximity to the chickens and garden was a treat for us! We felt inspired by the house and the property and we loved the beautiful outdoor bathroom. We recommend this stay to anyone who is looking for a cozy cottage stay.
