Cabin in the woods
We had a wonderful time staying at the Cottage in the Woods. A beautiful piece of property tucked away, but very close to everything. Would definitely stay there again.

If you enjoy quiet time in nature, where no one is about you, and you need a place to meditate or just vegetate, maybe read a book, this could be for you. The cabin is warm and spacious, the table and chairs and small fridge are sufficient for a couple's basic needs and there's a DeLonghi-type heater, if it gets cool (which wasn't the case when I visited). The kitchen about 40-50 yds from the cabin has sufficient counter space to prep meals. I enjoyed the hot shower after walking miles in and about town and beyond. There's an open field area about 100 yds up the path, where my pup was able to explore.
If I plan to return, which I will, I'll bring an air mattress just in case, as the mattress was a tad hard for me. I prefer a firm, not a hard, mattress. I understand Matthew will provide a better mattress that's more accommodating for us non-Spartan souls. ;o)

Cabin in the woods
A beautiful property that has a wonderful layout and everything you’d need in a peaceful setting. Also a great location in terms of proximity to Mendocino, Fort Bragg, and surrounding areas. We had a great stay

This is a beautiful location in a secluded but close to town area. We loved the cosy cabin and kitchen area with outdoor shower. This plot of land is great land is picturesque and we would absolutely come here again.

Wooded Tent Platform
We had a great time tent camping on Matthew’s land. Especially appreciated having a covered outdoor kitchen area when it rained. Very peaceful and well taken care of!
