Relax on 3 expansive acres with sunny meadows and some hidden forest nooks. The property has a remote feel to it but is just minutes from the quaint coastal town of Trinidad. A beautiful walk down quiet country road takes you to Secret Beach. Fresh vegetables from the garden are available for your use. A number of beaches nearby allow for surfing, kayaking, and swimming. We are located 5 miles from Sumeg State Park with beautiful hikes, vistas, beaches, and indigenous historical sites.Unwind in the elfin cabin with all the amenities. Cute one room space, with kitchen, shower, fridge, 2 stovetop burners, and a California King bed. Use as a home base for exploring all that Humboldt county has to offer - rivers, beaches, forest, craft breweries, Arcata plaza, old town Eureka shops. A half mile from the cabin boasts the best restaurant in town - Larrupin's - where you can dine on fresh fish and smoked meats. A half hour north is Trees of Mystery with a sky tram. Fun fact, this cabin was moved from our neighbors and reconstructed with love and patience by the current owners. Features include a cob floor and artisan woodwork by the original designer.

Elf Cabin

My husband and I spent two nights in the Elf Cabin and absolutely loved it. The kitchen was very well supplied, the bed was super soft and comfy, and the outdoors was incredibly calm and peaceful (except when it wasn’t due to a lumber planning operation next door which I suspect was a temporary situation and it ended after a couple of hours). The coast is not easily accessible for 80 year olds as it involves lots of steps or very dicey trails. However, the surrounding beauty of the area more than suffices for the age-related problems. We hope to return regularly.

Elf Cabin

My friend and I absolutely loved staying at elf cabin. The property smelled amazing with all the eucalyptus trees, and felt so magical in the rain and sunshine. The cabin itself was super cozy and had everything you could need. Perfect little kitchen for cooking breakfasts before heading off to adventure (stocked with tea, coffee, cooking oil, salt, pepper) and the shower had an excellent water pressure. The bed was insanely comfortable. Everything is so charming and cute and thoughtful. Wonderful hosts as well, super accommodating and able to help out in extra ways if you need. This was the best Airbnb/hip camp style place I've ever stayed hands down. Loved it and would love to come again!

Elf Cabin

Perfect for our little family

The pictures of this sweet little cabin do not do it justice. It was lovingly restored and every detail has been thought of. It is prefectly appointed and soooo cozy on a cold night. We made simple meals and enjoyed making s’mores with our 9 year old in the fire pit. They brought a little sleeping pad for our son and it was perfect. Definitely recommend!

I had an excellent experience! The cabin is well assembled and appointed. It’s definitely one the of the best cabin experiences so far. The bed is very comfortable, and the shower is perfect. I found the cabin very clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!
