Cozy Retreat Among the Trees in the Santa Cruz Mountains Escape to nature for a stay in our rustic and comfy ‘tree house’ nestled in the heart of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Oh my gosh. If I’m ever driving up to San Fran or Berkeley again, I’m 1000% staying here again. My FAVORITE stay thus far. You have everything you need in this little tree house. Melissa was so sweet. I came to stay by myself with my small dog and I felt completely safe. It truly was the best little get away to disconnect. I couldn’t stop taking videos because of how cute and well thought out everything was. (Get familiar with the gotta go portable toilet before you arrive! lol)

The cabin was excellent. Super clean and very comfortable. Beautiful setting. Mel is an awesome host. She made me feel very welcome, and she is very responsive. Definitely hope to back again. I’d recommend the cabin to anyone.

Perfect Treehouse in the Redwoods
Leafy Lanes Tree House
Mel’s treehouse is the coolest most relaxing and most well appointed Hipcamp you will ever find. Babbling brook? Check! Hot outdoor shower? Check! Adorable little treehouse studio camping? Check! Kindest, most communicative and friendly host in Mel?? Check! Just the absolute best experience. Composting toilet requires a tiny bit of knowledge which Mel kindly explained. Seriously can’t speak highly enough of this one. Great job Mel! Almost certainly will be back. The setting is easy (just park and walk up the steps!) but it’s a little ways into the mountains outside Corralitos, perfectly set in the redwoods. Amazing.

Cozy little cabin. Light burbling of the river was pleasant to go to sleep to. Nice hikes nearby. We'd recommend sausage from the nearby Market & Sausage co. for the grill.

Melissa’s cabin was very cute and cozy. The location is beautiful and she clearly put a lot of thought and care into the space. She even provided snacks like chips, bananas, and bread, as well as drinks like coffee, sparkling water, and beer!

This stay was lovely. Fabulous views and a cozy, well equipped little tree house. Our favorite was having morning coffee by the creek that runs along the property. Fantastic stay for any outdoor enthusiasts.

I absolutely loved this quaint little treehouse! Melissa was an amazing host and super friendly and communicative. Her directions were clear and had a great pdf file that explained everything about the property. The treehouse was extremely clean and welcoming and the property was beautiful and peaceful. 11/10 I would highly recommend! We felt at home away from home here. Thank you again Melissa!
