Patti’s place was quiet and had all the necessities! We stayed midweek and pretty much had the place to ourselves! The showers were hot and the bathrooms clean, there’s a great outdoor sink set up for dishes and she even had a washer and dryer available to use. She is the sweetest and this place is centrally located between the parks, great if you’re trying to fit a lot in in a small timeframe.

Great quick one night stay on the tent grounds. Close proximity to the national and state parks, and overall very quiet stay. Bathrooms/showers were very clean and well kept.

Just stayed here for three nights as a base camp for exploring the redwoods. Location was great and there were only a handful of guests (we went the week before July 4, so most campgrounds we stayed on this trip had lower occupancy than normal.)
Overall the property had quite a bit of debris/equipment stacked around the outbuildings and the bathroom facilities were outdated and run down. The bathrooms were clean, however. We had to drag over our own fire pit from another site, which was unique!
One resident (it seems like 3-5 spots are full-time rentals, but I’m not sure) held really loud conversations the majority of the time we were there, which was a little uncomfortable. There isn’t really any separation between sites, so it was hard to escape the loud booming voice (which begins promptly at 8am!)
Patti was nice and helpful. I appreciated that she had inclusive signs/decorations here and there. Aside from the clutter around the property, the bathrooms and site itself were tidy.
It’s a bit more rough around the edges with less privacy than we prefer, so we probably wouldn’t stay again. But it’s got everything you need and the location is a great gateway to the Northern redwoods.

We love our stays with Patti. Our site had a full hook-up. The grounds are well maintained and easy to maneuver even with our 35 ft. fifth wheel.
Patti is a wonderful host. You will come as a guest but leave as a friend. Her camp hosts are also very friendly. We spent time with Mike by the campfire. He provided us with numerous great suggestions on places to visit in Oregon.
This is our second visit but not our last!

This place was very quiet all the way in the back. A few 4wheelers here or there and a random howling with the dogs on site but I didn't mind it. I love staying here especially with the hookups and the lavatory. Boy did parking near those become such a life savor. Showers were nice and neighbors when they came in were very cordial. Overall a place id come back to. Also Patti is extremely sweet, understanding and accommodating. Just look for her hat before you drive in past the red barn otherwise you'll miss her when she comes out to greet you. Peace and Patience is what this camp ground has and what it gives you in return.

We had a great time at this Hipcamp. Patti is such a kind soul and a wealth of knowledge about the area. Very warm & hospitable. The camp was clean & quiet. It had everything we needed including water, electric & sewage hookups at each site which we don’t usually need/use but it was nice to have. Highly recommend this hipcamp

Overall our stay was great! Patti was a great host and was friendly and helpful.
The main down side for us was that there were a lot of dogs in the neighborhood surrounding the campground. One kept us up the first night barking all night. When one dog in the neighborhood got howling or barking they would all join in.
I would stay there again, but if you are looking to enjoy the quiet outdoors when you are in camp this may not be the place for you.

Patti’s place was quiet and shaded with trees. The neighborhood street a block before was a bit crowded and busy, but the campsites themselves were private, pleasant, and tucked away. The grounds were cared for and the RV hookups worked well. Access to the highway was easy and a short drive away. We would stay again if we’re ever in the area.

Great location right next to the Klamath River and very close to the heart of the Redwoods. Our neighbors at the campground were all very nice and the location had everything we needed.
If you plan to camp in a tent, bring long underwear. It gets cold at night (even in June).
We had a great time very relaxing.

Amazing spot. Camped with redwood trees, bathrooms and showers were clean, firewood for sale on site. And it was in the middle of the redwood state and national parks part of the PCH. Perfect spot to explore the area.

The host are some of the most welcoming people and truly make you feel like family. They did not hesitate to invite me over to their campfire where we talked for hours. The sites were clean and well maintained. Additionally the bathrooms were spotless, and the showers had hot and cold water. The site is also great for those wanting to explore the outdoors as it is in close proximity to the redwood national and state parks.

First weekend of April 2025 - we reserved this at the last minute, as the reviews were very positive. But, we did not end up staying here. We were told we could stay at any of the sites within the park, which was nice. But, to our dismay, this location was 2+ miles from the freeway, in a valley within a small residential neighborhood, and there was no reception. The RV park was closed, and there were about 3 other RVs within the park (these were boarded up for storage). But again, we were informed via email that we could use any site, and appreciate the communication. I think this would be a good location in the later spring/summer when there are more people in the area and the park is open.

We enjoyed our overnight stay. We did arrive after sundown which made it a little difficult to decipher what was a campsite. Id highly recommend to arrive when there is still light out! Other than that we awoke to realize we were surrounded by beautiful mountains, its rainy season so the fog settled on the mountains beautifully and it was surprisingly not muddy in the campsites! We have dogs and allowed them off leash, just keep in mind there are other dogs that live in the area that are also off leash. Overall great overnight experience. Even in the rain.

Very central location made it easy to access good hikes to the north and south. Patti was welcoming and checked in with us when we arrived. Not in her control but it was a bit noisy overnight at times (dogs and cows in the neighborhood and then someone was setting off fireworks one of the nights we stayed). Other than that, a good spot!

We had a great time camping at Pattis RV site. We were able to setup our tent in a flat grassy area with access to a bench and fire pit. Patti was super helpful even despite the off peak season and even offered us fire starter and firewood. She was super welcoming and we would love to come back in the future.

It was raining the duration of our stay which of course has nothing to do with the host or campsite. Patti wasn’t there but her alternate knew we were coming and braved the rain to welcome us. The bathrooms were older but offered hot showers, flush toilets, electrical outlets, mirrors—everything we needed. We paid the extra to plug in our EV at an 50amp site and that worked well. Because of the time of year and rain, we had the place to ourselves minus the permanent folks so that was nice.

We spent the week camping at Patti's Terwer RV Park! We loved it! The location is perfect if you are looking for a low-key relaxed place to set up "base camp" to branch out and explore the surrounding area. We spent most of our days on the many trails in the area, then would head back to Patti's around sunset. Patti was a wonderful host, providing water, showers, flushing toilets and electrical hook up. (Patti let us borrow a power adapter for charging our phones on site as well!) We had a rental car, so we were able to drive from the campsite to many of the trailheads. The area is very peaceful and quiet with very friendly and welcoming neighbors on site. It was a wonderful trip and an amazing experience for anyone looking for a place to put down tent poles for a week. Definitely would recommend.
