The host was amazing. Novel ensured that we had what we needed during out stay. She made us feel welcomed. The holistic services were great. I would definitely return for the massage and reiki services provided. It was a wonderful stay. We did a lot during our short stay. Novel directed us to a nearby festival and we were able to take a hike at a nearby trail and come back to enjoy our massage/reiki. The purpose of our trip was to get out of L.A. and relax, relate and release and that's exactly what we did. Thanks!

This is a great place to stay for a country getaway. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and the suite in the log cabin is tidy, fully furnished, and comfortable. The property is set back from the highway and has a lovely view of the wooded hills across the way. The nearby town of Wrightwood is charming.
There are "glamping" options - RVs parked near the log house which look well maintained from the outside. Worth checking out if you want a comfortable "home base" while you explore the lakes, hills, and trails nearby.

Bit expensive and had Lots of bugs, people stayed above us and we’re loud til 3-4 am. Also wouldn’t let us use air mattress so someone had to sleep on a couch for no reason but I guess less bugs.

My bestie and I had such a wonderful time staying with owner Novel and her sister Kitty. They made us feel very welcome and made it clear they wanted us to let them know if we needed anything at all, day or night. The Lodge is absolutely adorable. It has a log cabin look but with floor to ceiling bookshelves and fun little tchochkies the owner has collected over the years. The private suite at the lodge we stayed at was very spacious and comfortable. We loved having a little kitchenette so we could reheat our leftovers rather than going into town. Breakfast the next day was delish. We were asked about our dietary restrictions - we have none - and the owner's husband made us hot croissant sandwiches with an egg, cheese, and chicken that was even tastier than it looked.

Novel and her family provide a very cozy getaway room and great spa services and health treatment. It’s a family run business and everything is done with warmth and hominess. We had a great 2-day stay with massages and reiki healing.

Brought my whole family for the holidays an it was literally the best log cabin experience hands down I'm so in love with the theme an the view. The staff were extremely nice, helpful an home feeling you truly feel the love here, the amenities are complimentary an you're encouraged to use things you've most likely forgot at home so definitely a bonus. The spa vibes are a must don't skip out it's a personal experience so you don't have the feeling of someone's watching or it's too crowded not the case it's so relaxing! Last but not least your only a few minutes away from town, you have the whole forest to hike behind you an of course the snow for the selfies yes this is that! Returning for Valentine's Day so excited for the suite!!! 🤍 Thanks Nouvelle!!!

I loved my time at Navel’s place! Very cozy cabin and very welcoming reception! Breakfast was very nourishing too! Would definitely come back!

Great location to boondocks but still have spa treatments available. Also close to town and hiking. Not flat so bring levelers. No dump station. Very nice hostess. We spent couple nights which was enough. We had friends in the lodge so were able to use the bbq and deck area which made it very nice.

The people and location were great. There was enough room for our small trailer tent and car. It would be best if your self contained at the location as a travel toilet was provide without a tent pod, luckily we had our own pop up to place over it.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We went for a bachelorette party and it was amazing. We got some spa services and spent the night. Everybody we met was extremely friendly.

Novel is a wonderful and caring host. We so appreciated her help and interest as we experimented with using a small wood stove in our tent. We weren't able to do this in California's State or National Parks so we really were glad she was trusting and open. The land in front of her beautiful spa and lodge was perfect for this trial run. It's not exactly in a forest, it's not far from town or the highway, but perfect for a quick getaway from LA.

My family had a wonderful visit! Novel was an amazing host ensuing we had everything we needed including an outlet to charge our car and games for our kid!
We loved the location- close to skiing and to the town. Plus, the views from the log cabin were incredible.

The suite was really nice for the area but it is important to ensure heating and hot water heater is working as soon as you get there.

We had a great time in the log cabin/ suite. The kitchen was a little complicated to figure out but once I figured out how to use it, we were able to cook things pretty well. The bathroom and kitchen were not as clean as I would have liked but it was acceptable. The surroundings were very beautiful and the host was very accommodating.

This place was amaaazing! The log house was incredibly cozy, I could’ve just snuggled up and read all night in the upstairs loft. This place would be a dream in the wintertime with snow outside.
The lodge has 3 cozy rooms upstairs with a charming bathroom shared between the rooms. The bed I slept in was super comfy.
There’s a grill on the back patio you can use, but I’d also suggest trying out some of the restaurants around town. We had fun checking out local places and hearing about what was going on around town.
The host was incredibly sweet and accommodating. She made sure we were comfy cozy during our stay and provided recommendations of where to eat in the nearby town. Definitely recommend planning a getaway here.
