Surrounded by ancient California native oak forest, open space, and wilderness, with abundant birds and deer and close to lakes, State Parks, fishing, mountain biking, golf courses and hiking. Organic and biodynamic vineyards 5 miles away. . Mountain Volcanic Views From the top of the knoll you can see: • Mount St. Helena • The full Mayacamas Mountains • Harbin Mountain • Steam rising from The Geysers Sunrise over Angwin. Sunset behind volcanic ridges. Clear Milky Way skies at night. Lake County is known for exceptional stargazing thanks to low light pollution and very clean air. You can see the Milky Way with bare eyes here. Each camp site is spaced 150+ feet from the main farmhouse and bordered by 5 acres of open space and oak forest on one side. We live on the property and steward the land, but guest areas are separate and peaceful. with views of neighboring ranches and spuds of animals. St. Helena, Harbin Mountain, and the drifting steam plumes of The Geysers, the most active geothermal field in the world. Just 15 miles from Napa Valley, 8 miles from Harbin Hot Springs, 2 miles from highway 29,, this peaceful organic farm retreat offers rare privacy, breathtaking views, and a calming, elevated energy. The yurt sits on a huge private site 200 feet from our farmhouse with parking, two primal massive stone fire rings, spool picnic table by local artisan, chairs, umbrella, shade awning, and macramé tree swing. It has electricity, Wi-Fi, soft fairy lighting, candles and two heating options: a wood-burning stove or an electric heated mattress pad to keep you warm and cozy in all seasons. Indoor table with electric kettle, coffee and tea and WiFi! You’ll have use of a shared covered kitchen about 150 feet away, on a pine pergola plus choice of two bathroom setups: • an indoor shared bathroom in the owner's farmhouse, or • a compost toilet and private outdoor hot shower and soak tub under stars in dedicated structures. The Belle borders a 6-acre open-space filled with ancient mossy oaks, volcanic boulders, hummingbirds, hawks, deer, and wildlife. Sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and star-filled night skies unfold from different edges of the mountaintop, creating a sense of deep rest. The landscape is energetically potent — part of the volcanic ring surrounding Harbin Hot Springs.
