We had a *beautiful* stay at Emily's & Guido's farm, I've stayed at dozens of HipCamps and cannot recommend this one highly enough. The property is so gorgeous, the hosts are so kind, the arrangements are so cozy, the sauna was an amazing treat. Was fun listening to the frogs at night! (But far enough away, was quite quiet). One note - we were easily able to cook on the stovetop (w/ pots and pans), but weren't able to get the oven working (maybe user error). We drove up from SF, the farm is near so much amazing nature and 3 mins from a delicious bakery. We will definitely be back, hopefully for a longer stay! My only worry is that this place will quickly book up - it's very special.

Guido’s camp is simply wonderful. It’s a small village on a farm in a paradisiacal place. The lights and the scents. The stars. The sun when you wake up. The sound of the wind. Guido’s kindness, his warm welcome, and the walks with him through the fields. The area where the camp is located, close to beautiful beaches. Everything is perfect, and we will return every time we pass through San Francisco.

The location itself was nice. But…
Finding the spot was a challenge. We got right to the Farm Shop. (Note: don’t confuse his discussion about the farm stand with the farm shop. )
At the shop there was only a screen grab of a google map. I spent quite a few minutes trying to discern how to get from there to there and realized in the bottom corner was a N with an arrow pointing down. Rotate the image please so that the directions are what one expects.
He provided written instructions which were much better, but the step of find the green gate was slightly meaningless at night. That gate has a large NO TRESPASSING sign, so we were hesitant to stop there. I was expecting (not unrealistically I think) a Hipcamp sign or something to give us confirmation that we wouldn’t be shot trying to enter.
We were at the last spot and the road was bumpy and would absolutely have benefited with some smoothing or grading. I know it is a working farm, but a little more effort would go a long way.
As it turns out, we only stayed one of our two nights because it just did not seem worth the effort to try to go there and set up again so we decided to drive home.

This was my first hipcamp reservation and my first time solo camping. I loved it! I was the only one there my first night and felt secure with the gate locked behind me. Second night some other campers arrived but I did not even notice them until the next morning. Nice space a privacy between sites. Composting toilet was immaculate. Already recommended to friends! Thank you for a lovely trip!

What a lovely place. It was so quiet. When it was clear, there were lots of stars out. The place is really charming, rustic, sweet. We had an awesome fire three nights in a row. It is so close to Point Reyes with all kinds of great hiking. One day we paddled our kayaks right from our site for several miles on the estuary. We saw river otter, great blue heron, and all kinds of other birds. The hosts were kind and very responsive.

What an amazing spot! Just 10 minutes from Dillon Beach, the campsite was super easy to find—and we ended up having the entire place to ourselves! The property is beautiful, set right along the creek, and we loved relaxing by the campfire while watching cows graze nearby. The 24/7 farm shop was a huge plus—we could grab firewood anytime, and their meats and eggs were absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

The site was perfect for tent camping. It was private and scenic. Lots of bird life and close to the water. We loved being able to have a campfire. The directions were clear, toilet was clean and the host even pulled out our hamburger we ordered to thaw so we could have it for dinner that night.

The odor from the indoor outhouse was pretty pervasive, even with the windows kept open all the time. Also lots of dust and cobwebs. The place was quiet and peaceful, however, and the setting was pleasant.

This camp spot was beautiful and remote enough to feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, yet only 15 minutes from tummy places to eat. The sites are large and spaced out so you don’t hear your neighbors. The composting toilet was clean and easy to use.
We stayed at Egret Nest for 2 nights and although the Creek had too much algae to use it was lovely to be right on the water and watch all of the birds.

This was a great spot. The site had plenty of space for two tents and felt very private. The stars were so bright and the sounds of nature were lovely. We brought bathing suits but did not get in the creek, it didn’t look very swimmable.

Totally enjoyed our stay at Estero San Antonio…from the frogs, to the estuary, to the blackberries and the special farm store with great eggs and meats. What an awesome place. Great views and location to explore nearby Tomales Bay and Point Reyes! Super quiet sites with plenty space between sites

Our family had a wonderful night at at Owl Nest at Estero San Antonio Wonderlan. The instructions for coming in were spot n. We picked up beef, firewood, and bought an extra dozen beautiful looking eggs. The campsite was right down the road. The other spots were far enough apart to ensure privacy. The restroom was surprisingly tidy and smelled like cedar. The picnic table was in great shape. The firepit was well protected, and the (non-potable) water was close enough for safety and dousing. The firewood was dry and caught quickly. We enjoyed smores and the stars, and had a great night's sleep. Road sounds were minimal.
Next time we might choose the site closer to the waterway - there wasn't really access from Owl.
We had a great time in the area eating oysters, kayaking, and enjoying the beach. I think we'll be back!

The site is surrounded by tall grass so there is no view. They don't allow to bring the car closer to the site, so you have to park downhill and carry the camping gear.

We love the quiet and the stargazing. I really recommend picking up the sausages and firewood. Private campsite surrounded by blackberry bushes.
The fire pit, outdoor shower, and compost toilet made for a genuine camping experience. The camper was comfortable inside and had perks like a nice bed, cookware, space heater, books, puzzles, and more.

I am absolutely staying here again. The campsite is remote — only you and the cows — so it’s perfect for a quiet getaway. I haven’t felt that at peace in a long time. Huge plus: the outhouse is very well-maintained and was such a nice addition. The farm fresh eggs were also delicious and very easy to pick up. The nearest town is only a 5 minute drive away, with a cute diner we ate at on our way out.

I can’t express how unexpectedly wonderful our stay at the great blue heron was! The trailer is cute and clean and in a very special spot. We wandered over to the farm and met Guido who was very gracious and welcoming. We paddled on the Estero, met deer and rabbits and cats. Just the refresh we needed. Thank you!

This is a great spot a short drive from the coast. Everything was just as advertised in the online description.
We took kayaks in the estero, had a campfire (made burgers from the farm’s ground beef), and took a trip into Tomales then out to the coast for a short drive from Dillon Beach to Pt Reyes Station with some fun stops along the way.
I was aware of the other campsites, but they’re spaced far enough apart that ours still felt very private.

Beautiful site, very serene, isolated, and well kept. The farmstand is great as well! We’re very happy to have found Emily and Guido’s little slice of heaven and will definitely return.

We absolutely loved the Badger’s Den site, and the wood-fired private sauna + cold plunge were really great amenities. Guido and Emily are super hosts and the care they put into the accommodation and farm is evident. Guido was exceptionally responsive over Hipcamp for all our questions during our stay, and messaged us when the cows were grazing within a short walk of the pond so we could go see them, having expressed earlier interest. Great stargazing, cute pigs. 11/10 stay - we will be coming back. Plenty of nice biking, hiking, and beaching nearby. The veggie croissant at Route One is a must-have.
